I was not disappointed. A typical, great Eisenstein movie. My wife and I both enjoyed the graphics, story, scenery, and costumes were very authentic. Prokofeiv music only added to the enjoyment of the film. read full review |

I have enjoyed this movie since it was first issued in 1939. Burgess Meridith and Lon Chaney are excellent. I would never see any re-issues of this film as it cannot be duplicated. Original is the best. read full review |
