What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value Range assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

The Ultra for 06 is the last 5 speed 88 twin cam ultra. There was a lot of excitement over the 07 models with the 6 speed 96 inch twincam however they are slower and noiser than the 06. They have the same engine as the 88inch but it is stroked a little for the 96 inches.

The engine and drive train easily handled my 6'6" 280 carcas along with my lovely wifes vivacious body. The rpm range is much wider than that of my old 80" Evo, so there is less down shifting. It is well balanced and very stable. It's not like my 100 inch chopper but thats why I have 2 bikes. That bike isnt comfortable like the glide either. I use the glide on all my long trips and week long treks to places far and wide.

The FLHTCUI Ultra Classic Electra Glide is the ultimate touring motorcycle from Harley-Davidson, made even better for 2006 with the addition of a redesigned adjustable Tour-Pak with LED side lights

I finally sold my FLHTC 97 Electraglide for an 06 Ultra. I love it. It is comfortable. Has a broader RPM sweet spot meaning less down shifting. I installed the GPS Navigation system right into the Harmon Kardon stereo and it worked great immediately. The sound system is killer. My wife is very comfortable on it. Has a very unique Harley Dragonfly Green special flip flop paint job that is spectacular in the sun (gold to green to blu hues.)I got it with the Screaming Eagle Air stage 1 and SE pipes. I recommend both. Will add an air cooler in line and on the filter to cool it down a bit. Runs hotter than the 97.
I will be installing a power commander and a 203 cam to give it just a little more juice. I made the mistake of a big cam, high compression piston etc in the 97 and the rpm range shrank but the power def. got a boost.
This TC88 doesnt need much for touring.
If I want screaming fast, I can jump on my big inch chopper.

I bought mine new in May of 06. I ordered mine with a carb. and screamin eagle pipes, stage one kit. The first week the front brakes started to squeal. Then a light went out. The light was minor and was addressed at the shop. Fast forward 2 years and my front brakes still squeals. Overall the bike is great. Nice radio cruise control is great. I replaced the short windshield that comes with the bike....I couldn't see due to wind buffeting, went with an 8 in tall windshield. That's it...still running like the day I bought it and is a blast to ride!!! Would I buy another? Yes....

I've had Harleys, Sportsters, Dyna's, and a Road King. The 2006 Ultra I bought was used, It had just over 13,000 miles on it. The 1450 engine is smooth and has a wider power band which is nice riding in the Mountains, I've put just over 5000 miles on the bike in the month I have had it.

I decided to purchase an Ultra for the creature comforts, cruise, AM, FM, Intercom, CD, tour pack & passenger seat for the wife. Every thing was as it should be until I started having problems with the face of the radio going out after talking with several others with this same radio, I have found this is not an uncommon problem.

As I write this, the Harley Shop has my radio out and they were kind enough to put one they had taken out of a wrecked bike so I could have a radio. They told me it had the same problem as mine did and the display face didn't work.

Another thing is the stock seat, Not real good for 500 or 600 mile days. So if your buying it to tour on be ready to drop another $600 or so for an Air Zeppelin seat. However my wife said the stock back seat was comfortable.

Over all I am very satisified with the bike, the more I ride it the more I like it. The performance is great for a bike that size. No problem with the reliability, gets 40 + MPG on the road if you keep out of it. The seat could be more comfortable in my oppinion, and the radio display needs to be addressed. The radio sounds great and works great even at highway speeds. (The display is the problem) The CB is nice and I feel gives a little added safety when riding with others, you can tell each other what your doing and advise of traffic passing or turns and DEER in the road.

All things being considered I would give it a 4.5 out of 5 I'm very happy with the bike and would not b e afraid buy another.

The power, reliability, and performance from the name we know so well. I'm not too sure about the factory seat, doesn't feel well on a long trip. The non locking saddle bags need to be changed, but the room inside them is great. The engine mounted to the frame gives the testosterone shake while at idle and the Rhinehart true dual exhaust gives a perfect rumble and pitch to the exhaust.

After 30 years of not riding , I decided that I wanted to feel the freedom of the wind in my face and the days of my youth. I made my mind up (after long talks with my wife)to take the plunge so to speak. I looked for Harley's all around my area and could not find what I was looking for. Then after days of looking on E-Bay I found what I was looking for ---- The rest is history , it's great to have the feeling of freedom for a few hours each week. I love my Harley and am happy with everything that happen during this purchase.
I would recommend anyone that wants to experience the feeling of riding again to go for it!

I have only one dislike of this bike, my legs are too short. This is by far one of the best buys I have ever made. I love to ride it and enjoy traveling to places on it. Its a real blast to ride and good on gas.

This is probably Harleys greatest accomplishment when they came out with the Street Glide. When I saw that Mike was offering this one at a great price, I couldn't pass the opportunity to buy a piece of history. The bike itself was cobalt blue, with several aftermarket modifications. When I first layed eyes on it, I fell in love. The Screamin Eagle mufflers have a fantastic tone, which was music to my ears when I heard it for the first time. I straddled the seat and I knew that I had found my dream bike. The first ride was great, it handles like a champ, and plenty of power to get me around wherever I need to go.

I bought the bike from Mike Cope who lives in Texas. And since I live in Canada, I couldn't ride home the 2000 miles like I intended to do, because of the weather up here. So I arranged to have a shipper pick it up and deliver it to Montana, where I could drive down in my pickup and bring it home that way. Mike was very accomidating with sending all of the pertinent documents to me via Fedex so I could get accross the border with no hassles. Mike was also extremely helpful when it came time for the shippers to pick up the bike. He made sure that he was around to help load the bike and prepared it to ship by meeting all of the requirements.

All in all, this transaction was the best that I have had on Ebay and would highly recomend Mike to anyone. He is curtious, helpful and described the bike to a "T". It more than exceded my expectations and I look forward to spend many years to come on my new Street Glide, and keeping in touch with Mike.

Thanks Mike.
