The way the archos 605 is built is superb from the touch screen to the buttons . The reason i bought this item was a ipod touch was just not doin it to me it has no memory but once i got my archos the difference is just there

I was desperately looking for something less expensive than e-book, but software-policy-independent and more versatile then ipod. And I got it.
I like it rather than Ipod I had before: now I can watch .avi and read books in .pdf on almost as twice as bigger, but still pocket-size screen. And I do not need to buy any special Windows software (like Anapod explorer) and spend a lot of time to find good one, installing it, synchronizing files, and struggling with non-english fonts just to exchange my photos, movies, books etc. with different operating systems (I use both Win and Linux).
