Black Wind by Clive Cussler (2004)

I didn't like the purchase I made for "Black Wind" by Clive Cussler b/c the seller had lack of communication with me and I placed a bid on Ebay AND WON on February 2, 2008 and it is now April 25, 2008 and I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE my order or my money back! Then the seller tried to tell me at first that I had to open a PayPal acct. in order to get my money back. I told him that I feel that I should not have to do that b/c it is not my mistake--he then told me, WHEN I ASKED HIM, that he did not have the book that I originally ordered!! Now, if you place something for sale on Ebay, don't you think that you should have the item in stock???? My other purchases have been GREAT to communicate, fast shipping of my item ordered, etc. until now.

My husband & his brother read this author so I buy these books for them. It is less expensive than going to the book store to buy them!

Clive Cussler is one of my favorite fiction authors, any book written by Cusssler is a very good read.

I like to read books written by Clive Cussler. It was listed at a very reasonable starting bid with inexpensive shipping costs and was in like new condition.

I am an avid Clive Cussler-Dirk Pitt fan and have read all the Dirk Pitt novels several times. I anxiously await the paperback release of all Cussler's Dirk Pitt novels, and was ecstatic when I could buy Black Wind in paperback. However, I must admit that this is my least favorite Dirk Pitt novel. I got bogged down several times in meaningless details. The novel seemed to lack a certain crispness and passion that is common in Cussler's earlier works. All Dirk Pitt fans need to read this novel, but don't expect too much.
