Different Seasons by Stephen King (1995)

If you are a Stephen King fan, then this book is for you. A collection of 4 of his best short stories, 3 of which went on to become blockbuster films. "The Body" was the inspiration for the film 'Stand By Me', and the film 'Shawshank Redemtion' is based on the story "Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption". "Apt Pupil" was also attempted as a film, but not to much avail. The fourth story, "Breathing Lessons" is also a great King story.

This is a good book, I am not a big fan of Stephen King but this book was great reading. There is a movie associated with the first Novella, The Shawshank redemption, and they both are very good. I bought this book because I am in a college class that requires that you read and watch the movie. I am really glad too because if I wasn't required to read the book and watch the movie I would have missed two great works of literature.
