I puchased the subject, older model, camera on recommendation from a friend who said it was great for close up pictures. I paid an average price and am satisfied with the workings. I was surprised to find (cause I didnt check) that this cmera did not come with a multimedia memory card which is needed to produce picture. I found one on ebay for an additional 30 to 40 dollars. This changed my net purchase price significantly. I recommend that members buying cameras make sure that at least one memory card comes with the purchase and if not, budget accordingly.

The camera has many features that allow for ease of use in general situations and does well on close-ups. The memory card is no longer being sold in regular retail stores so stock up and only upload with the USB cable. The card gets scratched into uselessness so do not remove it from the camera and you will be fine.
