Bob The Builder: Can We Fix it? (PlayStation)

I bought this game for my three year old boy who is a big Bob fan-we got the PS1 edition. I was very disappointed and he only used it for fifteen minutes and has never again. My son has been playing playstation games for about two months and enjoys spyro, star wars, and Burnout 3. Don't kids can figure out these advanced games in no time.
This game is two dimensional and so basic its pathetic. you can use the left and right arrows to make the truck knock over piles of brick or directional keys to give the cat his food ( kind of like pin the tale on the donkey). Those are the only activities we could find- very boring for anyone into video games- a big letdown.I don't know if there are later editions of this game which may have improved.

It's a fun game for kids 4 to 5 years old. Good presentation and introduction.

Yet, it could be a little more challenging.

Pros: One of the ONLY Playstation games that my 3 year old is able to play (If there are others please contact me and let me know.

Cons: At fiest you will have to sit right next to your 2-3 year old to navigate them through the game. The challenges last only about 90 secs and then they want to try a different one so YOU have to get them there.

It is a cute game well designed for 2000. I wish they would come out with a newer version already. My 3 year old son loves the game but for the first month I detested it (see cons), however, now that he has learned how to navigate all by himself I have learned to love it. It took almost a month of playing once or twice a week for him to learn how to get from activity to activity. Once he learned that he quickly was able to move on to level 2 which is where he is at now. There is also a level 3 (everything just speeds up) Overall I am thrilled with the game especially for getting it so cheap from Half.com. Can't beat the price it was under 5 dollars including shipping. ***If anyone knows of other similar playstation 1 or 2 games please write me and let me know, I'd love to grab more to give my son some variety.***

I love this game you can build ANYTHING even cakes! fun for both girls and boys! it is just like a interactive bob the builder show!

This game is wonderful for 3 year olds. My son loves Bob the Builder. He came play most of the games by himself, with minimal assistance. In the next year, I am sure he will be successful independently.

Games are non-threatening, no violence at all, and just fun games! Definitely what I like to see in todays day and age. It is very hard to find a game without violence.

This is a great game for the younger set 2-6 yrs -My grandson loves it and cant find many games for his age group. Good learning tool and fund too.

My son loves this game. He's 3 years old and loves Bob the Builder anyway but I wasn't sure if this game was age appropriate or not until we got it. It definitely is.
