Halo: Combat Evolved (Xbox)

This game was so much fun that when it first came out I must have stayed up all night playing a few times. The graphics are great & the online play is awesome..

We like that it was in great shape just as the seller described. Ww liked the price and teh whole transaction went very smooth. We will shopping more on ebay in the future.

I used to play this game on my pc a few years ago but didn't finished it and lost my game cd. When i bought my xbox 360 and found out that i can play original xbox games, Halo was one of my fist aquisitions on eBay. It's an almost 8 years old game but that's no excuse to ignore it, a good game will always be a good game. Buy it, play it and have a lot of fun.

An excellent game that's a blast to just pick up and play. The controls are accessible to gamers unfamiliar with first person shooters, yet veterans will feel right at home as well. Gaming technology and standards have definitely risen since the first Halo came out, but that doesn't take anything away from the fun of this Xbox classic, or from its crisp graphics and nice physics. Definitely recommend! You'll have fun just multiplaying alone.

Even though I got the wrong version of the game, my fault, the store gave me a complete refund even paid to have it shipped back.

I'm not much of a fan of shooter games 'til I played this game . I always wondered what the hype was about this game . I liked the controls on how simplified it is . You don't have to remember much of the key buttons and all the weapons and gadgets are awesome too ! The only thing I didn't like about it is the whole directional maneuvering . Sometimes the whole area that the character is interacting in look alike . So, you'd be going around in circle for a little while backtracking 'til you find your way. Other than that this game has a great storyline and great graphics .

Great game with good graphics. Easy to play and great scenery landscapes, plenty of places to hide and shoot. We have enjoyed playing this game.

I LOVE (you must put proper emphasis on LOVE) this game. I've heard about it so many times and thought it was just hype. WOW, I've played many many games before and I have to say I really enjoyed this story line. The titles of the chapters were great too "The horse you rode in on", what a great sense of humor. If you ever thought that you might play video games some day, start with this game, you will be addicted.

Halo is a good game. I bought it NOT because it is one of the best games I've ever played (unlike so many of my peers, sadly), but because it is absolutely the most versatile game on the market today. Nearly everyone owns Halo if they have an XBox, so it is way easier to hook up and jam with all your friends than if one were to host a LAN party. I recognize this for what it is. Otherwise, the game itself is decent, but average. For a game that is closer to perfect (but not as versatile), check out Deus Ex for PC.

The game has an excellent story line, filled with action. You being the Master Chief, you destroy tons of enemys with various weapon selection. Nice long levels is what I really like about this game. But I am not like those Halo finatics that talked about how Halo was the best game. Its like any other shooter game I have played. But other that its recommended for your Xbox/360 collection.

Okay, that game came out for XBOX 1 but I didn't get into HALO until I played HALO 3 on XBOX360... so I had to buy HALO one and Halo 2....

The first day I got HALO 1 I couldn't stop playing it... If you're used to playing new games, the graphics might throw you off... but you get used to it.. they aint that terrible after all...

Even though this is dated, Halo has crisp graphics and well thought out boards and characters. While better played in Multiplayer mode, first person shooter will keep your heart racing and trigger finger itching.

Great Game, couldn't put the controller down. Great price as well. Just the right length and online play was fun as well

I have this game for pcbut it works better on xbox so i bought it and it seems more stable than on the pc. It is the first of the Halo games from bungee

I Purchased this video game for a second time because it had broken. Let me tell u this game is one of the best shooting games i ever played no wonder it won game of the year and its franchised and sold so many copies.

Excellent game. For those who love action and love the Halo series. This is the first and introduces you to Master Chief and the rest of the gang. My nephew is a fan and needed this to complete the series as he has Halo 2 and 3

What can you say about this game tht as not already been said a million times before, agreat game any action fan would want as part of their game collection.Great graphics will want to play again and again etc. I have played alot for shooters over the years and this is definately at the top of the best I've ever played!

Great Game True Classic Will be a collectors item in the future. Must have for all true halo fans to see how it all started.
