Need for Speed ProStreet (Playstation 3)

Need for speed pro street was one of the better Need For Speeds that have been released. It was by far the most realistic Need For Speed out there. I really enjoyed the fact that if you damage a foreign car, the cost to repair the vehicle goes up depending on how valuable it is in real life. I don't enjoy paying for it, but I thought it was a very good idea to make that part realistic.

In this Need For Speed, there is a great variety of different race types. Grip races, Time Trial, Drift, Drag, Speed, Top Speed, Wheelie Competitions and several more. I was happy to see that EA finally decided to get rid of the Knockout races. The game started off kind of boring because you start off with very slow and unexciting vehicles. Such as an old Honda Civic and the Chevy Cobalt. As you get farther into the game, you can get nicer cars, and eventually get up to the unbeatable Pagandi Zonda. The variety of cars in this game was a disappointment, because they do not have many of the cars you expect to be in a racing game such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and cars like that.

The graphics and details in this game are very good. The length of the Career mode was very satisfying. The Multiplayer part of this game came to be a disappointment. It was just like any other Multiplayer racing game. If you are looking for a good racing game for PS3. I would suggest this only for single player, if you are looking to play online I would wait until something better comes out.

If you love cars, especially fast and sweet looking ones, this game is for you. Customize from the roof to the rims. Only drawback is no street racing it's all track based but I still enjoy the game. A Bugatti Veyron 14.1 add-on is available on the Playstation Network and many other exotic rides are too. Check it out.

The gameplay is a little tough at first, but very solid once you get the hang of it. The car selection was a little weak, and the tracks were very difficult to follow, but overall it is still a very good racing game.

I really like the pricing deals I have gotten on eBay. My husband and both my sons are gamers. The new cost of games can be very high. I have had nothing but positive experience buying used games from eBay thus far, and will continue.

I purchased gran turismo for ps3 it was one of the 1st two games I purchased along with my ps3 because for 1 it was my favorite game on the ps2 system. After about 5 minutes of play it was a big let down the game is nothing like gran turismo was on the ps2 system.

After a bout a month or so I figured why not give NFS Pro Street a try and this game is everything I expected Gran Turismo to be and much more. I love this game you are able to customize you car add different parts and race it. I'm only about 10% of the way through career mode at the present but love playing it so much. My favorite part of the game is probably the drag races I could play those all day and never get sick of it. If you looking for a good racing game and are into cars pick this one up its a must have I love it.

The 2 downside are loading time between races and after every race I wish it would just load once and not have to wait around everytime you want to start or finish a race. aside from that its a great game the announcers voice over some sort of loud speaker gets annoying as well but is easily turned off in the options so not a problem.

It is a great entertaining game. Love all the need for speed games. great for all ages. We also bought a steering wheel with a pedal and it works fine with this game. I have all editions and this one is alot of fun.

Bought this game to replace one exactly like it that froze in one spot. as it turned out, this replacement freezes in the same exact spot! Not sure what is up with that when all other games work just fine on our PS3. Will not take another chance on this game.

I always been a big fan for the Need for Speed series and this doesnt let me down, not hard to handle and cars look awsome.

I like the game because the cars look great and the racing looked like fun. The only thing I dislike about the game is that I wish it had more of a story line like need for speed carbon. I bought the game because I wanted to try it out. To be honest I did not get around to playing it a whole lot because I had to finish need for speed carbon first. From what I have played I think the game is a lot of fun and would suggest buying it yourself if you are into racing games. The Cars look great and the races and challenges are fun. You have customizing options and a good selection of cars to choose from once you have completed the first set of challenges. Overal I would rate the game an 8 out of 10. The only reason I do not rate prostreet 10 out of 10 is that there is no story mode and thats one of my favorite parts to racing games. If you do not care about my prefference then I suggest picking this game up.

The game is unlike the other need for speed games. You can own not only import cars but classic muscle cars and high speed road racing cars. You can do a number of things such as drift race, drag race, high speed road race, or short track grip races. Online play is fun too.

Its a cool racing game has a lot of cool new 2009 cars really like the Nissan Skyline and i do like to race...What i didn't like is that its too short well at least i think it is but i don't regret buying it....

I purchased based on the legacy of the "Need for Speed" video games. I have played all of them from the PS2 to current. I have to admit I was a little disappointed in the game itself. All the others have been based on street racing and getting away from the cops. Not this one. It is based on track racing, with no cops. Where are the COPS?? Also it has damage to your vehicle, and you can not disable it. If you destroy your car the race is over and you have to pay to fix again. And as a suggestion if you get it use the king mode on the driving. They have driver assist options but they are not to my personal liking. I want to control the car. All in all its a fun a game however I personally like the older versions.

only 720p res. runs pretty slow between race. the menus are very similar and the career can change the name (career 1,2,... )

well i am kinda disappointed in the modifications allowed on this virsion of the game but it is a good need for speed title and is every thing you would expect from them cool cars that can be full customized to your liking and you have to pick and choose parts by brand and what not so yeah good game recommend for racers out there

As I am an avid fan of the need for speed genre I had no choice but to purchase this game. It is a brilliant street racing game, like its predecessors and if its your first time then I recommend it.

i love everthing about it and thats it. you can create many cars. the best part is playing online, it was fun to race against peaople i didnt know and kicked their butt

I've read many reviews of this game so I kinda knew what I was getting into with this purchase. I see what everyone is saying about it. It is very different in the driving styles and basic architecture of the game. Half of what made NFS what it was, was the Cops...Gone. These races are on tracks similar to Gran Turismo. I have only played this game a few days since that is as long as I've had it so I'm still in the "working out the kinks" mode. I do like this game though. It's more of a racers game. You can't just smash your way to the front. There's no "Damage Off" button in this game. A totaled car is a totaled car. Can't wait for the next NFS to come out.
