I just got this game for SUPER CHEAP and I really liked it. Was really worth the $3 with shipping. I played this game for a good hour, the graphics are ok esp. for a game from 1999. The players are ones I grew up watching and really liked the blast from the past.

When I first became a PlayStation enthusiast, I was not a big fan of sporting games. I found some better than others, but I did not really come to appreciate any of the few I had until I started using Triple Play '99. I'm not a particular fan of watching televised baseball, but there is something especially wonderful about how this game captures the feel of the game and the way it is most often known to its fans. I bought this game (and the Playstation console) after playing it at a friend's house. What other game can you play in special fields...Wait, I stand corrected. I played Triple Play '98 which had special fields such as Polo Grounds, Ebbets Field, and the Cornfield from Field of Dreams. In TP99, you get to play in some special hidden fields as well, such as a moon stadium. Classic home run shots in there!! This game had a good mix of realistic game play with player enjoyability.
