I am a James Bond Fan. I collect his movies and his games. The most about this game is the storyline and grahics. You use diffrent guns and charaters in the game and you also are on diffrent missions.
I still remember when I got this game- December of 1999. It was the first game I opened and played on Christmas morning that year. Seems like it was only yesterday... man does time fly.
This game isn't considered one of the better Bond games and was rated with a 5 out of 10 by IGN- I disagree.
The game may not be perfect, and yes, it lacks a multi player, but it's a Bond game, and I'm sure just about any PS1 playing Bond fan will enjoy it. I sure have, and the game can still be found in my video game collection today. It doesn't get much use, but I do pull it out every once-in-a-while for old times sake.
The first few years I owned the game, I could never get past one certain level. I don't recall the name exactly, but you get your weapons taken from you- you must find it. For some odd reason, I never looked on the table, which is exactly where the gun was. I guess I was too worried about the bad guys that were shooting at me- an unarmed James Bond!
The graphics are a little choppy, but the game can still be enjoyed.
I'll give it a 4 out of 5. A good game to have if you like Bond. They only made two for the PS1 (unfortunately), so why not own both!

Pros: video clips, at least they got the bond music right
Cons: bad graphics, bad targeting system,
Now when it comes to James Bond games, Sony has several more then Nintendo has, however Nintendo s got the only ones worth owning. I figured this out when I rented this from my local video store last weekend. Story Elliot Carver is trying to start a war between England and China so he can make headlines for his newspaper tomorrow. As 007 James Bond it is your duty to stop Carver before he is able to complete is diabolical plan. Graphics. Now all they had to do to make Tomorrow never dies is copy the same formula Rare had done in Goldeneye, has long has it felt like Goldeneye this would...

Pros: good sound, skiing!
Cons: bad graphics, not enough like Goldeneye
Note: since Goldeneye was ranked one of the top games ever, I will be comparing the two frequently. This game has a long way to go in order to try and live up to it's progressor, Goldeneye for N64. I think when that game won over 7 awards for everything it applied for in Nintendo Power gaming magazine, the creators of Tomorrow Never Dies should have taken a hint and decided to make it as similar as possible, and strengthen it where Goldeneye was weak. Unfortunately, they screwed up, creating a game that wasn't half bad, but shouldn't try out for any game competitions. Background: Tomorrow...

Pros: Good way to see the movie if you haven't seen it
Cons: Poor missions, poor control, graphics, story
I'm sure most people that have played this game have played bond on the N64, I know I have. When I first saw this game I thought, sweet a cool multi player shooter for the playstation. I didn't even bother to look at the back of the box and see if was multi player or not, it had to be, it's bond. I got home popped it in my playstation and watched the intro. When I got to the selection menu the first thing I noticed was the complete lack of the multi player option. That's ok I thought, they must have used up the entire cd on playable single player missions. They didn't. After each mission...

Pros: I'm Stumped in this Category........
Cons: Bad control, Small Levels, Basic Weapons
Well, to start off, Tomorrow Never Dies is a Playstation game that s a spin-off of the movie Tomorrow Never Dies with James Bond. It s pretty old considering when it was released, but I m sure some people are still buying it. Anything with James Bond is good right? Wrong. I was highly disappointed with this game, read on and find out why. Controls. Reading the back of the box at my local electronics store, I happened to notice the small section set aside to describe the controls. It looked interesting, stating that James Bond could perform combat techniques such as tuck-and-roll, dive-and...

Tomorrow Never Dies: Not so good.

Pros: Some creativity in the levels, attempts at variety of locale and mode of transportation.
Cons: Fails to be faithful to plot or spirit of film, and just is a flat, dull game.
My main problem with this game is that it is really not faithful to the movie. The way the characters meet is totally different, and the confrontations Bond has with the villains are totally changed. This is in contrast to Goldeneye, which was *incredibly* faithful to the film it was based on, and only made changes *in addition* to the material present in the film that made the game better, not meaningless anti-dramatic wavering from the source film that just mess up the plot and make the game seem like it was just thrown together. For shame. That being said, if you must have Bond games and...
