  My favorite of the series

I have always been a fan of the Devil May Cry series. This one is my favorite so far though. The action and the new moves and weapons along with the new character give it the variety needed to be just plain entertaining.

I like to start off by saying that l won a merchandise from these people and l had a problem paying for it (a link would not show up on my internet explorer). And when l menchend it to these people they did everything in their power to help me out, and l really appreciated that. This is a big reason why l can't wait to do business with them again. I know l can trust them with what ever problem l may encounter.

I really did appreciate all the help and l look forward to more business between us.

Thanks
Marcin

A Visit to an Old Friend...
Review created: 02/10/08

This game was underrated by many ways: Bad camera angles, not much connection to the previous game, no Trish, very linear and random plot, and yeah, many things... but I'm not THAT bothered with the game, because face it, Dante can now do more moves and shoot multiple targets at once, and you play a new character named, Lucia(who happens to be the replacement of Trish). While the game's plot sidetracked from the first one, it still had a fair story of a new Baddie who took over the human world and you've got to stop him at all costs.

I'll stop there, since I only played the game once and it really didn't really get to me quite as easily as the first one. But nonetheless, good.

Hello guys and gals please take a moment and watch this NEWS on free stuff
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFKYVE__Mug

Just take 2 minutes and read this. This is very EASY to do! It literally takes 10 minutes to setup. Simply follow the steps below. I promise you, this is 100% real. I wouldn't jeopardize my eBay account status if this was a scam. My feedback is real and I will answer you on any question! Here is what you do. Click on the link below, register, pick an account type (referral is the easiest) and complete just 1 offer (Very important that you complete the 1 offer otherwise your account will sit in limbo until you do). This is not like other sites where you need to complete one offer on 2 or 3 different pages! And a lot of these offers are FREE trials with nothing else to buy...No commitments.

There are plenty of cool offers to choose from such as Blockbuster online, Stamp.com, Netflix, Gamefly which are services you would regularly sign up for anyways and their all secure networks, why not use them to get a free PS3 System or cash). Look at the offers and choose the one that works for you. After signing up and completing your one offer, simply refer 4-17 people (depending on the FREE prize you choose) to do the same under your link (just post the same thing as I have on eBay, and you'll get your referrals before the auction even ends.)

Then they will ship your PS3 System or your selected item for free, I chose the PS3 80gb System. No Joke, 100% REAL The reason these companies make money, is because most people don't bother getting all the referrals. All you have to do is post it on EBAY! They use us as advertisement by word of mouth which saves them tons of money which goes toward yours and my free gift. These are legit companies such as Blockbuster, Netflix, Gamefly etc... You can copy my listing if you want. You must use your own authentic link though. You will get your own personal link after your orders placed.

Step 1: Click this link http://www.Toys4Free.com/88437

Step 2: Sign up and chose an account type (Referral is the easiest and best).

Step 3: Complete just 1 offer (like Blockbuster or Stamps.com) and refer up to 13 people to do the same (use eBay! Do what I did, copy my ad).

Step 4: Receive your PS3 System for free (Even The Shipping Is Free!)

For proof that this is for real, click on the link below. It's the company that is behind everything.

Please take advantage of this offer

Believe me this no scam watch the news link i sent u u will believe me

  Devil may cry 2
Review created: 05/05/07

I luv the fact that its a fighting game where you get to do all types of moves and jumping off the wall. One thing that I dislike about it is that fact that you kinda have to figure out every mission for you self, it barely gives you any clues to where you have to go next or what you have to do next, which is a little fustrating at times but I get over it because its a fun game...lol ^_^

It's Not as bad as people say

DMC = Devil May Cry

DMC 2 is not as bad as most people think. Yes, Dante isn't his usual trash talking demon hunter but think about all he's been though (I won't say too much for those of you who have NOT played DMC 1 or DMC 3). It takes place several years in the future and he can't be a bratty 20 something forever (Not that I'm complaining). Anyways some of the enemies are a pain because they are relentless and gang up on you but that's how it should be. The graphics are better than DMC 1 and the actions such as dodging, rolling, back flipping etc. make it more fun in that respect. One thing that does annoy me is when you jump to shoot at an enemy sometimes Dante will do Rainstorm instead of just shooting the enemy head on. One other thing I do not like is Dante's Diesel outfits. They just do not look right on him, thankfully he does get his DMC 1 outfit back after you beat Dante Must Die mode. Speaking of Dante Must Die mode Argosax the Chaos is definitely that in this mode! All parts of Argosax are active and make for some extremely intense moments. The same can be said for Trismaga. But that's on Dante Must Die mode.
I liked the Desperation Devil Trigger when your on the verge of dying and Devil Trigger you go into a super devil form. It helped me out in a tight spot a time or two. Overall though the game isn't as horrible as people are always saying it is. Yes it didn't have a lot of the same themes as DMC 1 and there were a lot of easy bosses but I still enjoy it once in a while. All of the Devil May Cry games are different and I guess you just have to give DMC 2 a break and try not to compare it to DMC 1 so much.

  Devil Makes Me Cry
Review created: 12/12/06

There's nothing in this game that I love. The only reason I bought it is because I am a fan of the Devil May Cry series. The combat system makes it ridiculously difficult to pull off any good combos. In the first game, by the end of the first play through you could max out all your weapons. It took me three play throughs with Dante and four with Lucia in this game. From one upgrade to the next there seems to be no noticeable change in the strength of the weapons. The story line is nearly non-existent. Most of the time I did not know what I was fighting for or why. What little story there is is uncompelling and forgetable and the voice acting is pure cheese. There is no strategy to boss fights. Most of the bosses can be beaten by keeping your distance and firing your guns. The one good thing I can say is that the graphics are much improved over DMC1 and that although the voice acting is extremely cheesy it syncs up well with the movements of the characters. Not worth buying unless you are a die-hard fan of the series.

  disappointing sequel to a masterpiece
Review created: 10/31/06
by:

Not one to pass up a potential great game I was one of the first to get Devil May Cry 2. What I ended up with was, at best, a rushed sequel. There are three main flaws that hurt this game. While there are good points they don't help much to revive this (for the most part) incomplete game. First of all is the level of difficulty, there is NONE! I beat this game overnight with out much joy having done so. The Bosses are not much of a threat and all of your powers are given. Second, those abilities that you get don't have much of an effect on the strategy of the game. Finally, probably the biggest disappointment is the main character's attitude and style. It's as if Dante is a former ghost of himself. The flare of the opening sequence of the previous game is gone until the end of the game. While these setbacks are annoying they don't destroy the game altogether. The graphics are top notch, one of the better looking games at its release. The ability to lock onto two targets and shoot straight down is a plus. (Even if aiming is difficult)There is a large amount of enemies to destroy with sword or guns. The second playable character offers a warm-up and a slightly different view of the games events. DMC2 for any fan of the original is a great disappointment. You're better off renting DMC2 and buying another action game.

This is the best game I've ever played. No joke. The whole Devil May Cry series is bad ass! Everything about it from the actual gameplay, tricks, graphics, music, storyline characters, weapons arsenal, everything is beautiful. I can't wait for Devil May Cry 4 to come out.

  How good is too good?
Review created: 02/25/03
by: 32_Footsteps -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Smooth graphics, strong controls, decent effects

Cons:
No challenge whatsoever, not much to link this to the first

Probably the biggest instinct that one has to constantly fight in survival horror games, besides to try to move like the controls make sense, is the instinct to blow away every enemy that comes at you. Generally, they purposely give you a limited repetoire of weaponry to force you to conserve. However, since running away constantly does get boring, Capcom made the original Devil May Cry, which allowed you to rip into the hordes of the damned at will. As you can guess, this went over so well that the sequel was inevitable. In this game, you once again have Dante, the son of a human and a demon.

How not to improve on perfection.
Review created: 03/23/03
by: kwts -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Sharp graphics, suitable music, somewhat compelling

Cons:
way too short, way too easy and way too repetitive

Devil May Cry 2 is the eager awaited follow up to the successful Devil May Cry, a game that I still consider to be something very special indeed. The original game for those who haven t played it was a game which came from the Resident Evil school of thought and really brought survival horror to the next logical stage a much faster pace, much more intense action, a incredible stylish feel and a control system combing swords and guns which made you wonder how Jill and Chris could ever have survived in the Resident Evil world. These foundations should surely have set up a sequel which should...

Not bad, but an unfortunate underachiever
Review created: 01/18/07
by: wrestler -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Graphics, sound, general mechanics of the game

Cons:
duration, difficulty level, story (ies)

Devil May Cry 2 is meant to be a sequel to the original DMC, released in 2001. While the first Devil May Cry provided the gamer with a terrific variation on the Survival Horror theme with its dynamic action style and bad boy hero Dante, this second installment is about as much of a sequel to the original as Final Fantasy VIII was to Final Fantasy VII. You'll see later that the FF example is not randomly chosen. The only thing the two DMC games have in common is Dante and the Sparda background. The result is not bad, as some suggest, but has a weird feel, which is accentuated by any memories...

Dante's Back and Better Then...Well He's Back Anyways
Review created: 02/10/03
by: Bowenkge -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Slick Graphics, Increased Arsenal of Character Moves, Longer Gameplay

Cons:
Lack of Storyline, Laughable Difficulty

INTRO or, A DESCENT IN TO BADNESS I simply loved "Devil May Cry 1" and lets be honest, who didn't? This is still arguably the best game on the PS2 with it's slick neo-goth style, industrial metal soundtrack, trash-talking anti-hero and Matrix-like maneuvers, how could you not like this game. That's why, you can understand, when DMC 2 came out, I was so excited that I went and harassed the guy at BEST BUY to sneak me an advanced copy the day before it actually went on sale to the general public. My girlfriend will attest to the delighted squeals of joy and anticipation that bubbled from my...

This sequel has been shot to hell
Review created: 07/07/03
by: NMD85 -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Beautiful architecture and environments, Dante's new stylish moves

Cons:
Annoying camera, dumbed-down difficulty, awful sound effects, Dante's new personality, boring gameplay

If you're trying to find more positive reviews on Devil May Cry 2 amongst the slew of negativity towards the game, you may have to look further. Although general critics tend to be harsh on some games (and if you're IGN, you're most likely a little too easy on them), I'm just going to lay it down the line when describing Capcom's sequel to be one of the most surprising franchises from the company. For once, Capcom designed a game that was completely devoid of anything Mega Man, Street Fighter, or Resident Evil - alright maybe Devil May Cry takes off on Resident Evil just a little too much for.
