Loved this book. My family especially loved the shrimp etouffee.. The Rustic Rub is great in making blacken foods.
This is a down to earth cookbook that you will love to experiment with. Jambalayas and gumbos are endless, mouthwatering varieties. It does have some spicy recipes, the signature of Louisiana. The aroma itself is mouth-watering.
If you don't like your food too spicy, then I would recommend cutting the spice ingredients in half.
