Self Matters by Phillip C. McGraw (2001)

I bought the book, thinking it may help my daughter understand herself better.
I read the book myself and it helps me understand myself better also, as well as why some people do the things they do. It is a good book, if you do what it says. It is a very helpful book over all.

I love Dr Phil because of his straight forward approach to issues that effect us all. Self matters for me was about fixing things in my present that were haunting me from my past. He was very clear in his book about how to do that in a step by step process. It was a lot of work and opened up a lot of cans of worms but he showed me how to get rid of the worms and the cans if I wanted too. He was sensitive but truthful as the truth hurts but it also heals. I bought this book for my daughter because she needs to listen to somebody and she needs help. I can't think of a better person than Dr Phil because she won't listen to me.

I did not find this book to offer too much advise that I didn't already know.
I bought it thinking that is was interesting and I had never bought a self help book before. I like Dr. Phil but maybe it is because I am around his age and from the south that common scense has never had to make a come back with me. So that is my two cents. Thanks

I like self help books and have always wanted to read one of Dr. Phil's books. The book has great information and was in excellent (mint) condition...loved it!

The book was in good condition.My communication with the seller was very prompt.It was shipped in good time.I decided to buy it because price and shipping was right.

There is a lot of personal work to do with this book so better be ready to dig deep and spend some time on yourself here. I learned a lot of important things about myself using the information from this book.
Dr Phil writes like he talks so it's easy to understand him without a college degree in physc... Thank God for that!

Excellent book. It definitely allows the person to come in contact with the 'self'. Dr. McGraw helps to build up one's self-esteem and confidence. Highly recommended.

This book was really good, especially for people with depression or those who are facing an anytime "life crisis."

I can from a disfunctional family and was always put down and always put myself last and I wanted some insight on how I should be more important.
I also must add the book was in fantastic condition....and plese let the seller I said that! Thank you!

good book .straight to the point in the dr phil style, but really gets into looking at yourself and your life. well written, moves quickly, not boring at all.

I decided to buy it to try to figure myself out. I've heard alot of great things about this book. But to tell you the truth I have not even started reading it yet. I have been too busy lately. I will get to it soon I hope.

I purchased a used copy of Dr. Phil's "Self Matters" and was very pleased! The seller's description of condition was exact and the selling price was phenomenal as compared to buying the book new at a book store. I saved a good amount of money, even with shipping added, over buying the book new! I would certainly be willing to purchase more books from eBay! My overall purchase experience was EXCELLENT. Condition, price, shipping costs, delivery...all very pleasing!
