Like a lot of other Radiohead fans...I bought this album for one reason only...the Hit 'Creep'. This song can truely be called the anthem our our / my generation! I had to have this song...so i had to have this album! Pablo Honey was the bands debut album in 1993, featuring 13 tracks. I recently revisited this album prior to writing the review, and was reminded of the strength of the music. A skillful blend of pop and rock, Creep might be the undoing of this album as this song is so good, it means that many of the other tracks, which are excellent in their own right, get overlooked! Again Thom Yorke's unique and talented vocals give this album an edge like no other though I think this album stands our as a precursor of things to come, and does not quite match up to the strength of both 'The Bends' and 'OK Computer'. Nevertheless, there are few bands out there, that combine the talent, music, vocals and originality of Radiohead, that allowed for such a stellar debut offering!!
I have purchased 9 cds from this seller and they are in mint condition and shipped so fast this should deffinitly be your first choice if your looking foward to buying CDs, it is surly mine.
This is Radiohead's debut and obviously people want to hear where this amazing band started off, and it really isn't anything special. Creep is obviously fantastic, but the rest is rather boring. If you love Radiohead and haven't gotten around to it, then you should just get this from a band-evolvement perspective, but if you only like Kid A, and really don't care too much for Radiohead, then skip this.
the item was in great condition dispite the fact that it is almost 15 years old. i received the item when the seller said i would. i have no negative feedback.
Radiohead's first album is good and every once in a while it hints of the greatness that was to come but overall it doesn't blow me away. To be fair, I like Radiohead best when they are in experimental mode. If you like their more rocking tunes you will probably love this. 3 Stars.
Bought the cd for the single "creep" but listened to the entire thing and loved it! I don't think there is any really bad songs. Highly recommend this for anyone who likes alternative music.
Just like every other album that Radiohead has come out with over the decade, it rocks! It features the song Creep, which rocks mega. And you can't go wrong at buying this freakin sweet CD. Especially now since its been out for over 12 years you can get it while its cheap! Yippee!
