The third season of Arrested Development, like the first and second, was simply brilliant! My having watched the first two seasons over and over again in anticipation for the release of the third only increased it's charm, since it is filled with references to past edisodes.
I would say this show is only to be viewed by children at the discretion of their parents, as it contains some sexual based humor and occasional bad language.
The box set is definitely worth adding to your collection. I would recommend, however, that you purchase the first and second seasons if you don't already have them.
The only thing that disappointed me about this season of Arrested Development was the length. Anticipating be cancelled, the writers were forced to jam a lot of plot into only half a season, which makes it a slightly faster pace than the previous seasons. Plus, you're only getting half a season, instead of the whole thing. It was over before I knew it.

Arrested Development=Funniest Show That Noone WatchedThis has to be one of the funniest shows I have ever seen and it is a shame that it only lasted 3 seasons. If you have not had a chance to check this out please do so immediately and you will not be disappointed. Also, this is where Michael Cerra got his start and perfected the awkward teenager act that he has made famous in movies like Superbad (hilarious) and Juno (excellent).

One of my favorite shows of all time. The humor is genius! This is the last season made before Fox canceled it so it's a little bit shorter than the other two. If you liked the first two seasons then you're going to love this final season.

Development Arrested, such a shame!Michael, Lindsey, Gob, and the gang are back for one last go around. It's a shame that this series isn't still on. Heck, it's INSANE that this series isn't still on.
If you loved the first 2 seasons, this one won't disappoint you. It's the climax to the series. 18 fantastic episodes. If you have not seen the series and you are curious about it, start with season 1. Arrested Development is one of the best sitcoms in many, many years and is really a fun show that can withstand multiple viewings. The show follows a narrative from "Opie Cunningham" and is almost soap opera like in that it carries one show right into the next.

I am very disappointed... I never recieved my dvd of arrested Development. I have paid for it. I have used e-bay many times and have never had a problem... I ordered a book the same day and recieved it the next day, i was extremely impressed. but from now on i will be extremely hessitant to use e-bay again due to the chance of this happening again.

I love arrested developmentWell this show is great....i am so sad that they decided to take it off the air after only 3 seasons....the characters are great in their own individual way....and they are all hillarious...what is even more hilarious is how they interact with eachother....what a great buy!!!!very many enuendos.....very very funny!!!!

While on the short side (13 episodes), the last season of Arrested Development is still as brilliantly funny as it always was. There is a great mix of satire, subtle dialog-based jokes, slapstick, and even an episode based on their rocky relationship with FOX and their low ratings. The audio commentary is somewhat entertaining if you are interested in how the show works and the origin of some of the insider jokes, and the deleted scenes are a nice touch.
If you already own the other two seasons, then you should definitely pick this one up. Actually, if you like smart comedy of any kind, then you should pick this up.

Arrested Developement D.V.D. Season 3Truly an extemely funny sitcom! I had watched both season 1 and season 2 previously and could not wait to watch the final season 3. A must see. Probaly the best comedy series on T.V. since Seinfeld. I wish they had made the episodes 1 hour long as it seemed to end way too fast! There are a lot of adult situations but I would not hesitate to let teenagers watch with you. I bought this D.V.D. because I did not want to have to wait 13 weeks to see all the episodes. Low cost of this D.V.D. also a factor.

Trust me, you will get hooked on this show. The key is though, watch the seasons and shows in order, a lot of the jokes are overlooked. You find more and more humor the more you watch. It was a travesty they took this off the air.

This show was one of the funniest I have ever seen. I still count Seinfeld and MASH as my favorites but this is probably going to be right behind them. I am amazed at how well, how clever, this show was written. Even right up to the end this show was witty and original. I am glad they were allowed to do a real finale, even making fun of themselves, the network that carried, (and cancelled), them and Hollywood as a whole. Completely brilliant.
