Madden NFL 08 (Xbox 360)

WOW, incredible gameplay.

A few new things and improved in this year's version are;

-gang tackling(awesome)

-when the running back hits the line of scrimmage it pushes the oline forward instead of just hitting them and going nowhere

-botched snaps are possible(although rare)

-weather is a factor(sometimes a player can slip in wet conditions)

-also the fantasy draft option IS in franchise mode.

This game is an A++++++ 5/5 RATING!

This game is very fun. It takes awhile to get all the controls down, and i sugjest trying the practice first. When playing a game, it is very fast paced and gets you in the game. Great Game!

This game is fun but I have to suggest that you have more experience with the controllers before you play it. It takes some practice getting all the moves down. Once you get the plays down it is a really fun game. Younger kids might get frustrated because of some of the complexity of the moves.

it's been a couple years since playing madden, but liked espn nfl the best. this version is much better for playability than past maddens.

Love football and love Madden. I love buying Madden a year late, because you can get it for like 5 bucks and it is not that different from the latest version. The graphics in 08 are really crisp, the gameplay is smooth and realistic. Always happy with this franchise and they have done it again with '08.

the game is great it is alot quicker on the field than 07 and it plays more smoothly than the previous maddens best madden game so far but i havent played madden 09 yet which i hear is good too but we'll see

Madden 08 does have some new twists compared to madden 07 but the play calling takes too long and it just completely easy even on all madden.. if you love madden games then you will love this but it doesn't attract new gamers to the madden series...the game doesnt seem as complete as the 07 version....they took out the superstar section of the game and just updated the rosters...not worth $60 but if you can get it for 5 or 10 its a steal....you decide!!!

When I recieved the game I did not have an opprotunity to play it for a couple of weeks because I had to got out of town for work reason, when I did get the chance to play it. The Game did not work, it said it was unreadable by the XBOX 360.

Great game. This is yet again another great product from the Madden franchise. I highly recommend it.

The delivery of the game was fast. I haven't had the opportunity to play it and see how well it works but there are no scratches and it all looks in good condition. So far I am very happy. Thank you.

Although I still miss NFL 06s mini games (I'm not so keen on the 40 yard dash and bench press compared to the pocket pressure, coffin corner punting, and other such useful skills), this is a good game, although not really worth buying if you already own an older version. (Aside from the new roster) I stay a year behind on sports games because when the next one comes out, they drop from $60 to $10, which for me is a no brainer. The tackling was greatly improved, as now you have to wrap them up to tackle them, you can no longer make them fall by diving near them. The superstar mode is slightly pointless, as you have to do very well at the drills during creation to even have a decent guy, but everything else is as good as ever.

Just like all other Madden games, the options are limited making the player lose interest, but yet they come back every year for the next issue. I got bored of mine within 2 days even while playing on Xbox Live. The only reason Madden is so popular is because it has no competition. If a new football series were to arrive with more options, Madden would probably be wiped off the shelf. Although, I can never seem to get enough of Madden even if I played it for 5 hours straight. Theres something to the game that makes you want more. Could be the crowd, maybe the sound of crunches from Manning given by Merriman, I don't know, but it keeps me wanting more. Madden is ingenious. The game might be boring, but the elements keep you going.
