Yourself or Someone Like You - Matchbox Twenty (CD 1996)

Matchbox Twenty is one of the most amazing bands of the '90s. This CD is the epitome of what Matchbox Twenty is - an amazingly versatile band with killer sound and relatable lyrics. This is my favorite CD by the band and a catalyst for the music that was to come. If you like this, pick up "More Than You Think You Are," "Mad Season," or even their most recent work, "Exile On Mainstream" - the song from the most recent CD, "How Far We've Come" sounds like it could've been on "Yourself Or Someone Like You" - their amazing versatility is still felt today - I fully recommend this CD if you like '90s alternative or music in general - this CD definitely has mass appeal! Best band ever!

Rob Thomas is quite versatile, this album stands out in my mind when I think back to the 90's.
It is full of great tracks and Rob sings with such emotion.

This is one of the best cd's ever! Every song on the cd is great. I love it when you can pop in a cd and listen to it the whole way through, which is exactly what you can do with this one!

Hard to believe this CD is 12 years old! Rob Thomas has an amazing voice. I loaded the whole thing on my MP3 not just a song or two like most CD's.

CD has many notable hit songs from radio (Real World, Long Day, 3AM, Push, Back 2 Good, Girl Like That, Shame, Hang) With the exception of tracks #10 Busted and #8 Argue, you can pretty much put the CD in your car and roll with it. Lots of good tunes. No real regrets. A must have for college student or recently graduate.

This CD has a great collection of songs on it. I used to have it but left it at a friends I don't talk to anymore.

One of the best cd's of all time in my opinion. I don't think Matchbox 20 could top this one! A must have for any MB20 fan!

Love this CD! If you like Matchbox 20, this CD is a must! Really good songs on it, that didn't get a lot of attention in the public, are #2 Long Day and #5 Girl like that. They are really great songs.

Every song on this CD could be a hit. In fact, at one point, you could hear five of the first six tracks on the radio at one time - all of them should have been. Instead of being "album fillers", the songs, "Girl Like That", "Damn", "Argue", "Kody", "Busted", "Shame" and "Hang", are every bit as good as the hits.

Enough words - you really need to hear this CD to know exactly what I'm talking about.

I bought this CD because matchbox 20 is a good music group.one of my favorite songs on the whole CD is track 9,but i like all the others also.I didnt dislike anything about the CD.

Somehow my copy of this CD got lost and I wasn't willing to order a new one. Because one was available on eBay, I jumped at the chance to replace it very inexpensively. The seller was very prompt with delivery and the item was just as he described -- no scratches and is an original (not a burned copy). Bidding, purchasing and receiving terrific items such as this, especially using Pay Pal, makes using eBay a real pleasure.

This is my favorite CD of all time. This was the second time I've purchased this very CD, all of my CD's were stolen from my truck and this was the only one that really upset me. This is my go to CD if I don't know what I want to listen to or I'm sick of the radio. Matchbox Twenty is one of the best groups of the decade and this is the perfect CD.

This an excellent cd. Has some of match box 20's greatest songs before the band split up. Youll deffinently love it.

I love this album! I am a Matchbox fan, but this cd is not what made me a fan. It was their 2nd that did it, so I went back and got the first and fell even more in love with their style and Rob Thomas's writing and singing. The store bought copy of this cd was lost like many others so instead of downloading it, I wanted it again and the quality of this cd is perfect.

This is their best CD, sooo many good songs. One of the best CDs I own by far. I highly recommend this one.
