Wings - Seasons 1-2 (2006, DVD)

This is great entertainment while traveling where TV service is not available. It was a favorite TV series of mine and I am happy to own it so I can watch it whenever I want to.

i wish the seller do what they ay they are going to do. i have been waiting 17 days for a dvd i won. i mailed out the money out fast.this was a gift for someone. that makes me look bad. i would like the dvd. if not them the money back i do have the money order stup.please let me know by the end of the week

I purchased this for my sister as a gift and she was so excited that she has purchased the rest of the available seasons. It was so worth the money and we can watch all our favorite episodes over and over again. I highly recommend this season to anyone who really loves the "Wings" series, you will not be disappointed!

I ordered,what I considered to be alot of dvds and cds from Half.com this Christmas season, and also throughout the year. All but one item was received very quickly. I even recommended Half.com to a few friends. I then received an e-mail telling me that one of the sellers I had used had been suspended for 90 days. I Did not receive my dvd, which was a Christmas gift. He could have, at least, refunded my money. $20.00 may not be alot to some people, but it is to me. I must tell you, I am VERY leary of ordering anything else. The sellers "name" is SiObhan85. I have e-mailed hime several times, and nothing! I want my money back! Thank you Debbi Minemyer

i bought the tv seires for a family member that loves the show. i found it on here and he loves the show so much i thought id buy it for his birthday

Very funny..It's like watching there lives. Each episode just continues the story and adds the characters that weve come love. I watch it at night before bed when theres nothing on for some great entertainment. Love It

I remember loving "WINGS" when I first saw it on TV, but having it on DVD is such a treat! (no commercials and pristine quality video and audio!) The chemistry in the cast is just amazing.

Beware: even though his photo is on the DVD case, this first and second season set only has 1 episode with Tony Shalhoub, and he is in a very brief scene as a waiter.

I loved the original show and so did my daughter. I got the two seasons as a birthday gift for her and she loves them.

Christmas gift. It was just what I wanted. My boyfriend loved this program and watches the reruns everytime they are on.

I have been waiting 10 years for a "non-bootleg" DVD set of the hit TV series WINGS to come out on DVD. These DVD's are just what I've been waiting for! Both image and sound quality are EXCELLENT and the menus are easy to navigate. My only hope is that they produce the rest of the series for me to buy.

Forget about reading these reviews and go buy this season 1&2 set of Wings! The writers of this show are pure genius. The characters are just as much if not more defined than any show that I've seen in the past 15 years...including Seinfeld and CSI Las Vegas! This show is a classic sitcom that provides a quick-witted clever twist on nearly every line. Each episode's story line is unique to this series and the dialog is both elegantly written and elegantly delivered (set-up lines are not given away like you see in most of today's shows). This is a clean show (subject matter) suitable for all ages and frequently delivers important messages along with the laughs. The only negative that I can think to note is that some of the episodes are dated given it's run time in the 90's. The best part about these DVD's is the quality of the picture. Until now, most people have been watching VHS taped episodes and now have a much better keep sake in the DVD format. The wait is over! Fly yourself to the store now or check ebay's prices!

this sitcom was in the top 2 in myopinion !!! it's funny-laugh-out-loud !!! timing of their lines are perfect - characters are perfect - I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! frazier and raymond would be next.

I decided to buy this because it brought back some old memories and a lot of laughs. this is a good comadey full of jokeing and having fun.

My absolute favorite comedy of all time, Wings Season 1 & 2 delivers comedy like it did before. The DVD is very user friendly and provides hours of laughs. What makes this better is the fact is season 1 AND 2. Most sets offer one season at a time. A++

After seeing it on TV, and then the reruns, and now finally on DVD, it came to me that this series is actually designed, or was created for both the male and the female viewers.
Any way you turn it, its pure viewing pleasure.

I have enjoyed watching this off-beat comedy and would highly recommend it to everyone. Good t.v.!!!
