Wing Arms is a military flight / shooting game. It is mission based, and allows you to select from a variety of planes to use in assailing other planes, land and sea bases. Each plane has a machine gun as well as rockets to fire.
The grahpics are about average for the Saturn, which was never a 3-d powerhouse, but are well beyond that of say, the 32X or Genesis/ Sega CD. They're about in the first-generation Playstation category - decent numbers of polygons, but very poor textures. Sound effects are good, and control is decent.
Level design is weird though - there are a few levels that are really great to play and replay many times, and then a couple that are a total chore to get through, and they're not skippable.
The game has its ups and downs, but I would say it's worth a try. Over ten years later, I still like picking it up and shooting stuff in my plane from time to time.
Wing Arms is a flight simulation game. You can choose seven fighters including a Japanese Zero, Me 262, P-38 Lightning, Spitfire and P-51 Mustang. Unless you are a hardcore plane fanatic, there is no point in playing this game.
The graphics looks substandard for the Sega Saturn- I felt like playing a Sega CD or Sega 32X game. There are 8 mission await but I already swap to another game after a few minutes of gameplay.
