Wii Play for Nintendo Wii


Nintendo's Wii Play is the first game that I purchased for my Wii.
The main reason I purchased this game was for the Wii remote that
came bundled with the game. I figured it was a good deal to spend
the extra $15 bucks to get the Play game along with a controller
that I was going to purchase anyways. :)

The neatest thing about Wii play (Besides the bundled remote) is
the fact that you get to play the game with the Mii's that you
created. As you play you will also notice that Mii's that are
sent to you from friend's Wii's are also making an appearance in
the game.

Some of the games become boring after a bit. Yet so far, after a
month, the game is holding onto it's play value. I'd rate the
game as a strong 4/5. Well worth it for the remote though!

Wii play is broken into the following games:

Tanks:

This game is a battle type game where you use the remote and nunchuk
to move a tank through a maze. You are able to shoot at enemy tanks
and lay mines to destroy them. In multiplayer mode you team up to
destroy the tanks.

Charge:

You turn the remote sideways and race against the other player while
attempting to "charge" down scarecrows for points.

Billiards:

A modified version of 9-ball. You play against your opponent using
the Wii remote like a pool cue. You get a "behind the ball" 3D
location while playing. I found that I also suck at Wii pool as much
as I do at real pool.

Shooting Range:

Ah this is like the old version of Duck Hunt for the NES. You shoot
down balloons, ducks, clay pigeons, targets, cans, and alien space
ships.

Pose Mii:

A simple game where you turn your remote to put your Mii into a bubble
on the screen.

Find Mii:

A similar idea to "Where's Waldo". You have to find the fastest Mii,
The Mii you are using, and so forth. This game can be really interesting
as you try to beat your opponent to finding the Mii's. The game is
timed, so the more games you quickly finish the more puzzles you can
attempt to play.

Fishing:

You have to fish in a small pond. You try to hook little 2D fish out
and you get points for each fish you find. You also receive bonus
points if you hook the "fish" that is highlighted as a bonus fish for
that round.

Laser Hockey:

Just a version of pong. Keep the glowing puck out of the net by using
a pong type paddle

Table Tennis:

Another version of Pong. However, I find this game a bit more addicting than
the laser hockey version.

Wii Play is easy to use. Games are simple to control and my 6 year old son catches on very quickly. This is a game for the entire family and great entertainment when guests are over. Kids, parents, and grandparents can all enjoy it. My grandparents get into it more I do. It is great to see them being active again. This product is money well spent!

Our Wii game console only came with 1 remote, so I bought this one. It lets you play games, together, like tennis, bowling, etc. The games that come with it really make it worth the money, my husband and I play all the time and we are not kids, it gets us up and active and mainly OFF THE COUCH. AFter playing Wii sorts, I must admit I was a little disappointed. Many of these games are difficult for children and even for adults, although I am sure with time I will be able to master them. Graphics are good, and there are a lot of mini-games to play. The controller and the game are worth the money.

I bid on this item and was told that I was outbid and didn't win. Then got a strike saying that I didn't pay for the item. How are we supposed to pay for this when we were told we didn't win. I bought so my Son can play his gamecube games on the Wii as well. It came when they said it would. Came in good condition. Had no problems.

I absolutel love the wii fit. You exercise without realizing it. It keeps track of your weight and you can log other activities you do outside of the wii fit and get credit for them. It's the best investment I've made in a while.

It took a little bit longer than I would have liked for my purchased to be shipped to me, but the seller was very good at communicating to me. Once I received my purchase I was very pleased!

Not only you get a Nintendo Wii remote, you also get 1 game for only 10 dollars, comparing it with the retail price of 49.99. The games include Shooting Range, Billiards, Find Mii, Tanks!, Pose Mii, Table Tennis, Fishing, Charge! and Laser Hockey. They are all pretty fun, especially with a few other players.

Wii Play offers a variety of different games. Much like many of the games offered for the Wii, they are easy to learn how to play. I can play most of the games with my 4 and 8 year olds, and we have a great time. One of the most appealing aspects of the Wii Play was the price (I paid around $20). The only major disappointment for me was the Ping-Pong game - it wasn't what I thought it would be (doesn't really require swinging the paddle, but just moving it from side to side instead). I love the shooting game, where you're offered a variety of different targets over several levels - and unlimited ammo is awesome! For the price, Wii Play is a hit and easy to play for gamers of all ages.

I was interested in purchasing anothr game for the wii console and I liked thae fact that the game included a wii remote. The game is also really fun and my daughter is enjoying it. That's what i liked the most from it.

The item was described as new in box, but may have a slightly messed up box. When we got it, it was sealed, or should I say, resealed. The Wii remote had batteries that were dead, clearly it had been used. Then with new batteries, it shorted out. We contacted them for a replacement, it took them about a week to answer our request, even though they say they will within 2 days. We ended up going and buying one from Wal-mart because we hadn't heard from them. Then all of a sudden we got a tracking number in our email. So they did sent a replacement, but they never acknowledged that they received our complaint. Anyway, we are just going to send it right back when it gets here. It did ship fast in the first place, but I am not sold on them, and its not worth saving the couple bucks, just get it from Wal-mart.
