Wii Play for Nintendo Wii


Nintendo's Wii Play is the first game that I purchased for my Wii.
The main reason I purchased this game was for the Wii remote that
came bundled with the game. I figured it was a good deal to spend
the extra $15 bucks to get the Play game along with a controller
that I was going to purchase anyways. :)

The neatest thing about Wii play (Besides the bundled remote) is
the fact that you get to play the game with the Mii's that you
created. As you play you will also notice that Mii's that are
sent to you from friend's Wii's are also making an appearance in
the game.

Some of the games become boring after a bit. Yet so far, after a
month, the game is holding onto it's play value. I'd rate the
game as a strong 4/5. Well worth it for the remote though!

Wii play is broken into the following games:

Tanks:

This game is a battle type game where you use the remote and nunchuk
to move a tank through a maze. You are able to shoot at enemy tanks
and lay mines to destroy them. In multiplayer mode you team up to
destroy the tanks.

Charge:

You turn the remote sideways and race against the other player while
attempting to "charge" down scarecrows for points.

Billiards:

A modified version of 9-ball. You play against your opponent using
the Wii remote like a pool cue. You get a "behind the ball" 3D
location while playing. I found that I also suck at Wii pool as much
as I do at real pool.

Shooting Range:

Ah this is like the old version of Duck Hunt for the NES. You shoot
down balloons, ducks, clay pigeons, targets, cans, and alien space
ships.

Pose Mii:

A simple game where you turn your remote to put your Mii into a bubble
on the screen.

Find Mii:

A similar idea to "Where's Waldo". You have to find the fastest Mii,
The Mii you are using, and so forth. This game can be really interesting
as you try to beat your opponent to finding the Mii's. The game is
timed, so the more games you quickly finish the more puzzles you can
attempt to play.

Fishing:

You have to fish in a small pond. You try to hook little 2D fish out
and you get points for each fish you find. You also receive bonus
points if you hook the "fish" that is highlighted as a bonus fish for
that round.

Laser Hockey:

Just a version of pong. Keep the glowing puck out of the net by using
a pong type paddle

Table Tennis:

Another version of Pong. However, I find this game a bit more addicting than
the laser hockey version.

I love that it was a completely new, unused product still in original, flawless packaging, and at a cheaper price than the suggested retail. Wii Play is great competitive fun that also helps keep you fit and happy.

I really like the shooting part of the game. The rest is "ok"
This game is more suited for people who have not experienced the WII console yet. I bought the game after having Wii for a few months, and it was kind of a stupid idea.

I simply don't like it. This game makes you play each game in a sequence. You have to finish a game before it allows you to go further. You can't skip and play the game you want, unlike Wii Sports. I do not recommend it to adults- it can be boring and frustrating. Kids under 12 may like it.

I bought this item because I wanted another remote and saw added value in the packaging of a remote along with new games. The value of the products sold together is good......just beware because some will sell you used items claining that they are new.......

My 13 year old daughter and I play together. I think this game is very easy to use and what starts as a challenge ends up being very fun. I would recommend this game to everyone!

I was impressed how fast the order came, and also appreciate paying for the item through PayPal Even with the shippage, I could not have gotten it cheaper local. I love shopping on e-bay.

I wanted to get this because it came with the wii remote but the seller put it under this description but was not selling the remote (even when it was in the description). So we have enjoyed the games as they are different and fun (once you unlock them all). I wouldnt have just bought the game if I could have done it over again but it is worth the extra money if you need an extra remote.

I was loving the Wii until I needed a second controler and saw the prices. In walks in the Wii Play bundle w/ remote. I saw it wanted and found it cheap so took it. Awsome...

Lots of fun games. I especially like the "Find Mii" game and the "cow race" game. I already had the game myself and bought this one for my Mom.

Nine games in one!! Includes games that challenge your mind as well as your ability to use the remotes. I especially like the Cow Racing and the Shooting games. This game adds to the fun of the original six games included with the Wii. It's worth the money!

Great games, they look like they are for kids but adults can have a lot of fun with these games also!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I played this with my husband's 14 year old daughter and his two nieces. We all had a lot of fun. The kids loved the animation and I love the fact that it was something we all could do together. I'm not nearly as good as the kids are, but I had so much fun. The wii is a the best! Plus it gets everyone using their brains and body instead of zoning in front of regular TV viewing. I liked it so much I bought 2 others for the kids! So enjoy!

I think if you are wanting an extra remote then you should go ahead and buy this bundle pack since just the remote is almost as much as the remote and the game. The game is kind of little kiddish and has very simplistic ideas...but it's still an extra game to enjoy if you are bored.
