This has to be Stephen Schwartz's best musical ever. Idina Menzel's voice is awe-inspiring, and paired with Kristen Chenoweth's voice it's incredible.Idina Menzel is simply amazing. Having followed her career since "Rent" and her solo album.
Mr. Schwartz's score is filled with so many great songs, but standouts include:

OH MY GOD!
This Musical CD kicks ass man.
I got interested when the first time I acually-with no clue what the hell it was- became amazed by it was when one night, I was watching "Tonight with Jay Leno" and at the near end of the show,I saw a bunch of peple in all "green" dancing to some beautiful up beat music.I didn't know what the hell they were doing until Jay announced it after their performance that it was form a new musical called...WICKED!...and then the rest was hstory lol!
You have no iead of how infuactuated,addicting-and I mean addicting-the music is!

Feel the magic and feel wickedThis cd brings back all your favorite moments from Wicked the musical. From begining to end inmerse yourself in the beauty and magic that this spectacular play is. I saw it once but I felt in love with all the characters and listening to this cd makes me feel I am back at the theather.

The play was absolutely outstanding but it is impossible to get all the lyrics when you see it for the first time. The CD just adds to your enjoyment and understanding of this amazing story. Wicked is my new favorite Broadway Play. I have now seen it 3 times and the CD is great!

I read the book and heard that the musical was fantastic. I guess you would have had to have been there. The music was fine but it sounded like a thousand other modern musicals. I have to rate it at average.

See the play - buy the cdI took my daughter and girlfriend to see Wicked in Chicago before Christmas. They loved the music but did not want to pay the asking price at the performance. As I usually do, I checked ebay and found a seller who would sell me two copies for the price of one.
The cd is strong and uplifting. If you haven't seen the play, you should.

One of my guilty pleasures is playing this CD very loud in my car and singing along while I drive! The CD is fabulous - It truly takes you through the journey of Wicked. I loved the cast's voices...I saw Wicked - The Musical in January, and while the new cast sang/performed very well, they are not nearly as good as the original cast.

I absolutely LOVE this CD! The music is AMZING! It is so fun to listen to again and again. Its even really fun to sing along with it! I highly recommend "Wicked" to any buyer!! You'll never think of the Wizard of OZ or Wicked Witch of the West the same way again! :)

I only knew two or three songs out of this collection, but my daughter saw a production of "Wicked" in Chicago last spring and just loved it. I couldn't believe how quickly she has learned all of the words to the songs when I saw her this weekend. This is a fun piece that she's fully enjoying. That's present tense, because she plays it in her car almost daily. It now has my interested piqued in wanting to see the stage production somewhere. I especially like "For the Good", a powerful song.

this is by far my favorite cd at the moment, i listen to it constantly in my car and sing to it at the top of mu lungs even though i suck at singing i dont care. its an awesome cd and if u havent seen the show i recommend u see the show first and then listen to the sound track, then u are watching the show with an open mind. but dont buy it at the show its a lot of money there, its cheaper online and a great product if u buy from the right person ;)

My daughter and I saw Wicked in Chicago in April and LOVED it! We had both read the book and noticed the liberties they took with the play, but it worked. The ending was wonderful and the music was fabulous. And while I wanted the CD, I didn't want to pay $20 for it through the Wicked website, so I turned to eBay. The CD was still shrinkwrapped and a great deal. I've enjoyed listening to it over and over and singing along. I would definitely recommend the CD to anyone who enjoyed the musical.

Great CD Recording of Wicked!!All the songs on the album are just as exciting as I heard them in the musical, even better then the voices I saw in the show that went on tour in houston. I recommend the soundtrack to any long time lover of wicked or a first time listener who is very anxious to see the show!
