This book was purchased as required summer reading for my daughter. However, I read all James Patterson books, and this is another winner

I started read James patterson books. I would like to buy all his books. His books keep me reading, I look forward to read the next book. I get so into the books. It hard to stop to cook.LOL

I bought the book, because I like James Patterson's books, the seller's on ebay offer the older books,plus prices are reasonable.

I have recently discovered I love James Patterson books. This is the best I have read yet. I finished it in one day.

I bought this book because of all the mystery writers I have read, James Patterson is the very best. His stories are fantastic. He is a wonderful writer. His books are terrific and very intriguing.

An older novel not quite up to par with his current books but an interesting read. The author's imagination is very active in this one.

This book had a bad effect on my work load because when I began reading it, I realized I wasn't going to be able to put it down. In "When the Wind Blows", not only are the bad guys very clearly bad, but the good guys are children with wings. They can fly, and Maximum (their girl leader)is a character worth rooting for. She actually has a personality, as do a number of the other characters in the book. "When the Wind Blows" really is good news, because it shows that James Patterson can overcome his hack prose (sorry) with a spell-binding yarn. I recommend this book, and, more especially, its sequel. In fact, I started by reading the sequel, "The Lake House" and immediately after began my search on ebay for "When the Wind Blows." I recommend this as a delightful summer read -- there's nothing there to tire the brain cells and plenty there to entertain.

Early patterson Novel unlike some of his new stuff. Still interesting to read but if you have read his new stuff and switch to his old ones you will be slighly dissapointed. Very good novel it took awhile to get into but once i did I loved it.

This book's so COOL! The way it's written, the way the characters interact, WOW! I never imagined this book would b so original and unputdownable! hehe... Buy it, U won't regret it!

Very simplistic! It almost seems like that is a filler book...needed to meet a publishing deadline. Not his usual stuff.

This is the first Patterson book I've read. I was carried away with the story right from the first page. Beautifully written, emotional, fantastic.

Iv'e actually read this book before and passed it on to a friend so I re-purchased it for another friend . Its thought provoking ,and you get swept up and carried along ,enjoying every minute .James Patterson is brilliant!
You must follow this one up with The Lake House .Or for your teens or children try Maximum Ride all by Patterson.

I have read nearly all of James P books... they are out of this world!! riveting and exciting. Along with being mysterious or scary they are romantic at some points. When the wind blows, was a exceptional book.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

If you have not read any of James Patterson's books, you dont know what you are missing. I suggest you stop what you are doing, go out and stock up!

I GOT THE BOOK BECAUSE OF THE AUTHOR. I WOULD VERY WELL TELL PEOPLE TO READ IT. THERE IS ANOTHER BOOK BASE ON THE PEOPLE IN THIS STORY AND I AM GOING TO GET IT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT.

Hadn't read Patterson's books before. Came across "Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment" and really, really enjoyed it. (Get that book.) Read somewhere that "When the Wind Blows" was a prequel to "Max Ride". Well, it's more like he had an idea, wrote an okay story (that I haven't bothered to finish reading), and at a later date refined that idea into an exceptional story. Have also read "Maximum Ride: School's Out Forever" and where "Angel" soared, "School" smacked into the windshield alongside "When the Wind Blows". Anywho, I'm just glad that I didn't pay full price for the book, because it's not worth that much. "WtWB" doesn't really relate to the "Max Ride" series, so if you can get "WtWB" at the library, do that and save your money. Buy "Angel" to keep for frequent re-reading. Check-out "School" from the library.

The greatest book Patterson has ever written. It pages holds you like super glue from the momement you open the cover. You wish it was 10 chapters longer at the end, you just do't want it to stop. A must for Patterson fans.

I love James Patterson's books and this one did not disappoint me. However, it was different, but since I am also a Dean Koontz as well it was doubly good.
