Believe it or not, the book club to which I belong chose a bodice ripper style romance for our November selection. Warrior s Woman by Johanna Lindsey is a favorite of one member, and she recommended it. Thinking that it would be fun and fluffy, we all went along with it. Fluffy, it definitely is, but fun I think not. The plot of the book attempts to marry elements of science fiction to a bodice ripper formula. Our heroine is Tedra de Arr, a security expert who also happens to be a virgin. On her home planet, this is pretty abnormal, as people who are of age generally elect to begin sexual...
