I was wary at first, at buying this book. I ususally stick with particular authors when it comes to referencing antiques but this book is awesome. The photos are abundant, showing different colors of the same item and giving price evaluations of each.
It's a heavy duty soft cover but it's large. It's well organized. I enjoy just browsing through it.

Denise Rago has put together an extensive collection of Roseville pottery with this book. The pictures are large and clear. There are fine detailed descriptions of each design. the book is easy to read, understand and use. It is very well put together, the photography stunning and well placed on each page. Her history and descriptions are excellent. If you love Roseville pottery and need a guide to give you an idea of prices and availability, this is the book for you!

The Warmans Roseville Pottery Guide by Denise Rago (2007) leaves something to be desired. Unless you have the same exact color, or piece of a particular Roseville design that is pictured, you will not find it to be very informative at all. The pics are of nice quality, which is a plus, but the shape/size selection within each style catagory is limited, and doesn't contain all sizes and shapes of a partiular style. Big downer. An index would be nice, as would a price listing by shape/size/style. Overall, if you want to look at "pretty pictures" it is fine. If you want it to be a guide in determining a value of specific items, well, there are better ones to choose from.
