Wario Ware: Smooth Moves (Wii)

The WarioWare franchise isn't that old but it's already one of Nintendo's "go to" franchises in a way. Best of all, the game keeps its humor and pace from each game to the next. Smooth Moves is a fantastic demonstration of what the Wii does and how non-gamers will love to play. It has personality and a "life" that not a lot of games can pull off in this category (I'm looking at you Fuzion Frenzy). There are around 200 minigames and will be a guaranteed smash hit at any party that involves drinking. Unfortunately, like those parties, when it's over, you aren't really left with anything other than the initial thrill.

Highs: Funny, Great at parties, easy to pick up and play, lots of minigames presented in the usual ADD fashion, flat out hysterical instructional voice.

Lows: Beating the initial game takes about 45 minutes to an hour, Poor integration of multiplayer, It seems like 50% of the games can be accomplished by just flicking the Wiimote across the screen real fast which really drains the satisfaction of the game when you realize that.

And Finally: WarioWare is perfect to play with your girlfriend. It's also great with a room of people. But if you don't have either of those, I can't see you playing this game for more than a couple of hours.

We received our game. It worked perfectly! The only thing about Smooth Moves is that although it is a multi-player game, you do not use multi-controls. Once you get past that, it's incredibly fun!

This is absolutely for every age. Though I'm sure the more experienced gamers don't appreciate it the way I do. It's fun to watch others play too.

We loved this game. At first we could not figure out how to play multi-player, you have to beat the single player mode. All of my children loved this game, even my 4yr old could play it. I would recommend this to all, even the adults without kids, it is a good party game!!

The game is fun except the Story mode is quite short. You also have to watch all these videos before you can get to the mini games in Story mode.

Ok so you just bought yourself a brand new Wii on ebay or something and you are probably exited to plug in and play....but you want something extra to play besides Wii sports, THis is the game for you WarioWare Inc is a very light hearted Humorous game, It consists of over 200!! 8 to 9 second minigames that all come at you at an alarmingly quickening pace, from Picking a nose to defeating a samurai or even driving a car all done by using the Wiimote(referred to in the game as the form Baton) as a universal tool. It's awesome party material just because of the random wackyness of the task that keps you saying "What in the world!" On the downside certain tasks are extremely difficult and almost impossible but with more practice using the wiimote in the game you will start coming out on top in no time.

i love that it is fun and funny. it has so many different games that you can keep trying different ones for hours. it is for school aged kids but also has some slightly more difficult games that adults can challenge each other on too. the graphics are great-very cute and eye catching.

i don't like that the games are so fast that some kids who play it for the first time can't do it and get discouraged. but usually after they get the hang of it, they like it.

This is a fun game for the Wii!!! I am a middled-aged Mom who never liked playing video games and have had a blast playing it. The mini games are fast and fun. Almost as fun to watch others play as it is to play. Some of it is challenging but always fun. It would be fun to do as a group when you can get the multi-player mode open. The unique way of holding the remote to play the mini games is also part of the fun of playing. I would recommend this Wii game to anyone who likes fun, laughing and challenging mini games that you can put down and come back to anytime unless . . . you get addicted!!!

This game is insanely addictive. My first exposure to Smooth Moves was at a friend's party. Between the zany mini-games, the Strike A Pose segments, and the wonderfully eccentric sense of humor (especially the narrator), we couldn't put the game down. It is a must-have for Wii owners that enjoy a walk on the schizophrenic side and dragging their friends along for the ride!

Unfortunately, the game is not available in regular stores around here any more. Thank goodness for eBay!

I played the game twice when I first got it and now it sits on the shelf, ignored. While I appreciate the unique and entertaining wii-mote actions, after a few challenging levels, the repetitiveness gets boring. Sure timing plays a key role in the challenge, but I don't feel like there is enough other mentally or physically challenging aspects to the game. Wario Ware had a lot of potential, but I feel it fell short in keeping me entertained.

Smooth Moves was recommended to me by a co-worker for my grandson's birthday. He loves it!! It keeps the whole family entertained and everyone gets in on the act (even us old folk!) He likes it as well as Mario Galaxy. Its great!

i got this game because of the high online game rating. This game is fun but is kinda confusing when it keeps you playing some mini games with no reason. I like mini games but sometimes to play a bunch in a row is not what i want. But overal it's a good game except like most of the wii new games it's $49 for the new ones so I guess buying a cheap used one might be a better idea just in case you will get tired of it later on.

I enjoy playing Warioware Smooth Moves for the Wii because it utilizes the remote and nunchuck. I do not like the fact that it is only 1 player, but I heard once you beat the game, it'll unlock for multiplayer. Although 200 microgames, they only last a 3-10 seconds each. Rentable game, but I don't know if it is worth buying at full price.

Pros: Even at age 26, this game is a blast. It is an all around fun game, and uses the wii remote technology to its fullest. This game can be enjoyed by any age group. I had a bunch of friends come over and play this game with me, we started playing at about 8 o'clock. Before I knew it, it was midnight and we were still having a great time. Don't waste your time thinking about buying this game, just do it already! I purchased it for $32.00 here on E-bay with $3 shipping fee. What a great deal! Gamestop was selling the used version for $45.99.

Cons: There is not many cons to this game but if I HAD to pick a few they would be: single player mode is pretty short and easy to beat, and some of the micro games can be quite difficult to a beginner, especially to someone who hasn't played the Wii before, but they will catch on pretty quickly.

Kids of some friends of ours had this and really liked it so we bought it for our neice and nephew. They like it too. It has a lot of cute and bizzare Japanese-esque scenarios that require you to use the wii. This is supposed to be one of the best games for making use of the many features of the wii hand controllers.
