Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War -- Platinum Edition (PC Games)

excellent game, great price for action packed varity of skilled game play, highly reccomend to anyone!

Love the graphics. This game is awesome. There is a slight problem with entering the key codes, but the solution was pretty simple.

I don't recall submiting for a review but since this little thing won't leave me alone fine. Dawn of war platinum is three games in one dawn of war, winter assault and dark crusaude. These are all good games if you like rts games which are all esentually the same. The dawn of war series is based on the popular table-top game Warhammer 40,000, so if any of you out there are Warhammer fanatics then you'll love this game dispite anything I say. To close this up it's a pretty good rts builder game but looking in some creativity but still a very good deal for the money and a nessesity if you plan on buying the new dawn of war soulstorm edition. Dawn of War is a critically acclaimed RTS game with intense battles and gruesome yet beautiful graphics. Each expansion pack adds new races and units to the game bringing the total number of races you can play to a whopping 7 (9 if you buy the latest expansion that is not included in this edition).

Although each race isn't COMPLETELY different from each other (I would say the races boil down to about 5 unique ones), they do offer different playability options and add new dimensions to an already deep game.

If you have been thinking of getting into Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War, then this is the PERFECT place to start. Great value for a great series of games. For this price you can't go wrong!

I love this game, this is my 2nd copy. this one went to my other computer so my wife and I can play online at the same time!!

Really a great game, and dirt cheap. The graphic engine is slightly outdated, but the mood is just awesome and compensate for it. The keyword here is "fun", while other rts games go for graphical realism, tactical challenge or "click-fest" races, this game is the one that i go back to. Sometimes you just want to stop and look at what's going on during fights.

It is also nice graphical introduction to the 40k universe.

I recommend it to any rts player.

Best RTS out at the moment, with its 4rd expansion "Soulstorm" now on the market, this game is undefeated! When Starcraft 2 comes out, it will most likely be this games only challenge in the near future.

This game is so intense. its one of the best games I have played I can't wait for the new edition to come out. this is a must buy game!!
