This is a super collectible. People collect the tins alone! This contains a dvd set of Donald Duck's first cartoons. He changes in appearance and you can watch him grow basically. Donald Duck as as collectible if not more than Mickey Mouse. People love him. Each these rare animated shorts and find out why he came into hearts. This also has art included in the collectible tin. Disney only produced a certain amount of these and they are numbered. They havebeen out of production since 2003 and are getting scarce due to investors collecting them.

Pros: great restoration job, Donald Duck is a hilarious character

There came a time when Mickey Mouse became extremely popular, especially among the younger set. Just as some things never seem to change, parents began to complain about some of his antics since their children admired the mouse so much. Mickey could no longer get angry and break a window or kick someone without objections being made. Walt Disney created the character of Donald Duck for a dual purpose: to give Mickey Mouse a foil as well as handle any of the lewd or crude content parents were beginning to object to. Cons: Leonard Maltin's repeated sermonizing (fortunately you can fast forward through them)
The Walt Disney Treasures series has been a gold mine to Disney lovers who want to own the old classics from the early days. Having previously focused on Mickey and Goofy, the series now turns to Donald Duck for the first of what promises to be many volumes. This set focuses on his early solo career with 36 cartoons from 1934-1941. It actually starts with "The Wise Little Hen," a Silly Symphony retelling of the classic fable where Donald only plays a small part.
