This is one of the best debut albums I personally have heard.I could listen to this classic from start to finish without skipping one song.I remember the first time I heard this album and W.A.S.P. I was going home on the school bus,and one of my friends borrowed this album (on cassette) and had me listen to it.I was hooked from the first note I heard and have been a W.A.S.P. fan ever since. From classic songs like "I Wanna Be Somebody","L.O.V.E. Machine" ,"Sleeping(In the Fire),and "Hellion" to lesser known classice like "Tormentor" and "The Flame"(two of my all time favorite W.A.S.P. songs). This is in my opinion, one of the all time great hard rock/heavy metal albums. The theatrics and Blackie's lewd lyrics (lewd in some peoples opinion, not mine) overshadowed the great song writing and a truly awesome metal band.I sometimes wonder what would have happened if the origional lineup had stayed together.W.A.S.P. the album and band are one of the all time underated metal classics that came from the 80's.Give this album a try.
Good old fashioned West Coast Metal. Grew up listening to these guys then decided to up grade from tape to CD. This is a awesome debut album from Blackie Lawless and the boys.
