Pros:
It's a good history lesson on why talented musicians shouldn't mortgage their songwriting skills.

In 1979, piano-rock pompadour Elton John made one of the most baffling decisions of his career, collaborating with Eurodisco producer Pete Bellotte to produce an album full of dance songs. Perhaps it was a reaction to his split with writing partner Bernie Taupin, an ironic jab at modern trends, or a simple cash-in, but this mystifying collection of uncreative ditties proved a commercial and critical bomb, and has the distinction of being one of Elton s poorest-faring releases (I believe he s now thoroughly dissociated himself from it).
