Unreal Tournament III (Playstation 3)

It looked better on my PC but the game kicked butt just the same. Jump on a skate board that hovers, very cool. Teleport into hard to get to places and or cover distance fast, very coo. All the BFGuns are all there and you can even fake your death so that your victim walks past you only to find you back on your feet and blasting them, very cool.

Have others help you in your campaign, or help others get through the game, very cool. The graphics are outstanding and come alive and move and can even kill you, very cool.

The only part I miss and that is not there from the last time I played this game was the NFL like football game style. The orb would set in the middle of the map and who ever got it could not shoot or teleport so you had to run right through the bad guys. Once you got to the other side of the map, there was a huge ring and you could jump through it for 7 points or punt it through for 3 points, so something like that. If it is there, would somebody please let me know because I don't see it.

Either way, I like the fast action (Walk in Blasting) and the team play required to win (You Conquer -You defend -We destroy.) I love this game.

This game is just amazing for the playstation 3, If your one of those people who thought Unreal tournament 3 for pc felt like a console game this is a must have it feels like it was made for a console, you can download mods and make your own mods and transfer it directly from pc to ps3, you can also use your own keyboard and mouse straight from a pc to the ps3 for more precision gaming this is just a Must have game for FPS gamers who love extremely fast pace games, This Game is not For those who are up for a challenge! :D

The grafic take a big step up will the fun and quality of the maps are still there and srong, everything you love about unreal is here and even better.

If you are into blowing people up and killing them over and over, then this is the game for you. So many weapons to choose from and the graphics are AMAZING!!! This is by far the best of the best for online shooting. This is a great addition to anyones game collection and I give it two thumbs up!!!

The graphics on the PS3 are very good, I like that you can add some mod's like on the PC. I wanted this version for my PS3 also you can even use your own keyboard & mouse so you'll like playing on your PC.

Having played every iteration of Unreal Tournament in existence, I feel qualified to state that Unreal Tournament III is the finest game in the series.

The smooth, lightning fast gameplay, killer graphics (pardon the pun) and thundering audio makes for an intense experience, especially when using a keyboard and mouse combination for pinpoint accuracy.

I just recently purchased a PS3 and a friend brought his copy over, and suffice it to say that we were playing until the wee hours of the morning. The next morning, I bought my own copy. The game runs in 720p, and I believe supports 1080p. The Dolby Digital 5.1 audio is amazing, with total immersion into the environment. Physics are handled with AGEIA PhysX calculations, and they add a realistic feel overall.

There is full online deathmatch and CTF through the Playstation Network, and the entire experience is as smooth as silk. This is one game you'll be playing again and again.

You've come a long way since Wolfenstein 3d...the FPS genre that is. This latest iteration would be a perfect 10 in my books if they had included an off-line split screen mode. Other than that...it's just what i'm looking for. Insane action, crazy weapons...and the hoverboard action is a great addition. The levels are just ridiculous...high tech, alien, and slightly asian in influence. I highly recommend this...although it may damage your marriage/relationship if you have one...I may have to buy a new TV since the wifey is complaining.

boring tournament style game. same thing over and over. Not worth it. Better off getting an action game.

great game if you like online play. this is all about online play...not that you actually have to play online to get that great multiplayer action. lots of good guns, fast paced with the ability to use either the ps3 controler or a keyboard and mouse. the real value of this game is that you can upload user created mods (maps, skins,weapons etc) into the game for use online or off. graphics are up there with gears of war (same engine).

anyways i love the game. 3.5 out of 5 stars

i like the game, reason i bought it is because my friends at work got it also and we all play online all the time. but the thing that sucks is that you cant talk to each other yet, it is a glitch that they havent fixed. they need to come out with a patch to fix it. since that makes it borring. thanks

When I purchased this game on ebay for almost 45 dollars (face it why pay retail of about 64 dollars after tax when you can reuse games buying and reselling on ebay), I thought I would enjoy a nice PS3 version of the Unreal Tournament I used to play on the PC. I was very wrong, for starters the resolution/graphics are horrible. I couldnt believe the game wasn't a 1080p game. I used to play UT2004 on a 1920x1200 screen at full resolution so I know how amazing this game can get. Getting only 720p out of my 46 inch screen the graphics looked marginal at best. Also, this game and other shooting games, are in desperate need of a mouse. The ps3 controller is no where close to using the accuracy of a mouse to serve for movement, aiming, and firing. I think the intro videos to each match were corny. The slogans after getting killed during the trainings were lame. I really was so let down, i resold my copy the day i received it.

this is graphic heaven on the PS3 and with user created mods to boot this is a must own game ..high replay value ...

First of all this game has stellar graphics to start. The story line isn't the greatest but it makes up for it with fast action team based first person shooter. The best thing is that you don't have to command or control your team. Multi-player is great as well. If you are a FPS fan or a fan of the previous UT games then I think you should give this game a try.

If you've played any Unreal's before and loved them, then I would highly recommend getting UT3! This is a definite pick up for your PS3! Graphics are amazing and the sound is great! Again if you're familiar with any Unreal games then you know the story line is weak, but online is where it shines! Very fast and a lot of fun! If you're into FPS, you will not be disappointed!
