I wanted to like this CD. I really did. And musically, vocally, it is pretty good. Teddy has a lot of promise. But what he understandably lacks, given his age, is maturity. As an adult, it's a little hard for me to recall the angst of being first in line at the DMV, or wondering if anything follows first love. As Teddy himself has probably already discovered, these are rather transient - and ultimately trivial - concerns.
So, while an initial listen had me wondering, John Mayer and Johnny Lang have nothing to fear from Teddy... yet. And if you're older than, say, 15, you'll want to pass on this CD. But don't write Teddy off yet. With a little more maturity under his belt, he may well craft songs of musical and lyrical complexity to match his vocal promise. I hope so!
I love the whole CD, it is one that you can listen to over and over. I decided to buy this CD because it got really good reviews from friends and he sounds like John Mayer. It is a great CD!!
This is an EXCELLENT cd with a very chill sound. Nice mix with a light soulful pop sound. It is very easy on the ears and the kind of music that will put a smile on your face. Would be really great for driving down the road with the windows down and just relaxing. Give it a listen, you will be a fan!!
I would highly recommend it!! ~2 THUMBS UP!!~

I discovered Teddy on the TV show "Love Monkey" which has already been canceled. I thought it was a great show (about the record business). Teddy's character was a new talent that they were grooming. I love his voice. "For You I will" is one of the songs he sang on the TV show. After listening to the album a few times, I also really like "Seven days without you".
Excellent soft acoustic musings with versatile piano rifts. One of our many local successes. Teddy is a welcome relief to the loud, head-banging, ska-metal bands with unintelligible or overtly suggestive lyrics. If his next release is as good, his fan base will only continue to grow.
