Everything is great in this movie!!! The actors the battle scenes, the music, I love this movie!!!!

I decided to buy this DVD from this seller because of price. His was the best. I do'nt really care if its new or not just the condition. I would recomend this seller to anyone.

Love watching Brad in his bad boy role kicking tales and not taking names. Just sexy. Love the long hair and the attitude in this role.

I tried cleaning the disk,tried tow different DVD players, but still skipped.
I waited a long time to get the movie, and then it was not in full working order.

Lots of action. Nothing to dislike. Great entertainment for the family or when friends get together. This movie brings back the days when the big screen was filled with larger than life heroes, but it leaves out the mythological gods and creatures of Greece and Rome and the special effects that make these stories unforgettable epics.

Excellent movie. Brad Pitt....ummmm. This is a great movie. Lots of action and suspense. I highly recommend to Pitt fans.

What else can one say about an epic adventure with an all-star cast. Brad Pitt plays the legendary Achilles, not concerned with material gain, he fights for one purpose, his legacy. Co-star Eric Bana gives an excellent preformance, torn between the sanctity of his empire and his brash younger brother.

Troy, is more about human nature, than the two city war which made it famous.

I love historical films and this one is excellent. The scenery and the battles are awesome. Story line is interesting and keeps your interest. Great actors help.

Not only do you get Brad Pitt, but you get the gorgeous Orlando Bloom to drool over while watching this fantastic movie! An outstanding, spectacular retelling of the Iliad.

I bought this dvd 2 weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the quality and the fast shipping. This is the seller you can trust. The only thing is that i sent the seller a message and did not get any response from him. How evere i got my DVD fast. Thats all i care.

Although not entirely faithful to the Iliad (the movie notes "inspired by"), Brad Pitt is the definitive star and shines in his portrayal of Achilles. His fans will find everything to like: plenty of closeups on his pretty face showing grim determination, suppressed sadness, hollow-eyed surprise, etc., plenty of skin showing his buff body, plenty of action highlighting his graceful run, spear-throwing arm, etc. Stalwarts like Brian Cox, Peter O'Toole and Nigel Terry give solid performances as well. There's nothing better than respected English actors to lend weight to a sword-and-sandal epic.
Eric Bana is the only "newcomer" with any grit, however. The rest of the younger set (Orlando Bloom, Diane Kruger, Saffron Burrows) is pale and limited in range in comparison to the seasoned actors. Their scenes together slows the action considerably.
Filmed in Malta and Mexico, the setting is panoramic and majestic, worthy of Cecil B. DeMille.
All in all a satisfying movie for those willing to enjoy a good epic without too many requirements of literaly translation to the screen.

Like it said I have this in VHS and wanted it in DVD. I was really glad to get it at such a bargain of a price. I want to get some of the other programs he is in also. I thought he was GREAT in this one! I will look for other movies like this one with him in it.

A great period piece. Lots of eye candy, and yet real meat of the story was great! And wow has Brad Pitt ever looked better?

Excellent Powerful Emotional Action Film! With a few laughs too! Would watch again and again. Awesome costumes and sets!! Brad Pit Rocks in this as he matures and learns a valuable lesson about love and life! Orlando Bloom was excellent as well in the film. Has everything for an adult film would let mature teen watch under my direction partial nudity no body parts shown. But I am not a stickler as we are all born with it. Full of action that's for sure!!!

Movie was very interesting keeps you on the edge of your seat which is very good for how long it was. Eric Bana and Brat Pitt are amazing. I bought this movie without ever watching it or seeing a preview for it and I am very happy with it. This won't dissapoint.

My husband and I are serious Mythology Buffs so this is a good one to add to our collection which gives a different spin on things. Seeing brad Pitt tan and buffed is not bad either!

This is not a particularly well acted film. The special effects are really cool.

The only reason I bought this film is for the gorgeous men in it. Brad Pitt is gorgeous and he buffed up beautifully for this film. Eric Bana and Orlando Bloom and Sean Bean look good in skirts and no shirts!

Peter O'toole has had WAY too much Botox and it shows here. Brian Cox plays the best bad man in film today. Oh, I just love the UK!

Troy is one of the best movie I have in my collection. I just love the battle scenes, music, etc. I like the way Brad Pitt played Achilles, some great acting. And Eric Bana, as Hector, one of the courageous warriors in the movie. Even though this movie isn't quite similar to the poem, it is still has a good story to it. A must have for any collector.

Instead of the Troy purchase I will tell you about another transaction being # 290139097263 for a dvd for which on 7-20-07 a money order being #597971 was sent to the listed seller Charles Yelencich of Sterling Heights MI tel: 586-930-2228. The item was NEVER received and his identity was secured upon notifying you of its non-receipt. A phone call revealed he had a partner named Issac (who refused to reveal his last name). Upon bidding he had a good feedback rating but soon after he was suspended and remains so.
FIVE telephone calls were made to him and his partner and upon each one the item was promised to be mailed. EIGHT e mails were sent also. Nothing was ever recieved. After their incessant lies I notified the local police and the FBI as to the transaction so they could determine the appropriateness of theft and internet fraud charges.
The amount in question does not justify litigation and since you are only a "forum" you disdain any help in my theft loss. Do not misunderstand me; I love ebay but your feedback policing system, being post hoc, was worthless in this case. The purpose of my writing is to inform you of this history and as I am sure he/they have re-registered under a new identity to see if others can be protected from their subrection.
