Being able to play multiple formats. Copying a DIVX movie and playing it on my DVD Player is amazing. The Upconvert Feature works real well you can select and change the format 480,720,1080 and for a low cost

) This DVD player is easy to use and has an awsome picture quality. It brings out the best of you dvd collecion. It has a zoom to help over come issues of aspect ratio so the movie fills your TV screem compleatly. With the option to hook up with composite, component, and HDMI you can buy it now for your standard def TV and use it to it's full potential later if you so choose. Overall a great product!

I bought this dvd player because it can play divx movies, or avi movies. And it works well, it loads up a movie fast. The only criteria I would say is that you have to have a remote control in order to fast forwrd or rewind because the player itself does not have those buttons.
