I DID ALOT OF RESEARCH ON A LOT OF TV/DVD COMBO'S. I ALWAYS CAME BACK TO THE TOSHIBA FOR ITS AWESOME PICTURE, GREAT SOUND ABOUT HAVING THE BUILT IN DVD PLAYER WAS A MUST. IT TAKES UP LESS ROOM HAVING IT ALL IN ONE. THE PRICE HAD A LITTLE TO DO WITH GETTING IT TO. BUT ALL N ALL ITS THE BEST TV I HAVE EVER HAD. Very nice TV DVD combo. Works great, no problems. I have had it about 30 days and am satisfied with my purchase. Seller was quick with delivery and email responce.

Bought this TV/DVD combo a few weeks ago as a replacement to a 13" tube TV for my kitchen. I don't watch a lot of TV, so just wanted a basic flat screen LCD HDTV for watching news and to listen to some CDs.

TV performs very well overall with both cable and DVD/CD playback. I have not experienced any problems with the device itself. Sound qualify for all features is good.

My complaints are about the manual and the remote control.

The manual is poorly written. Took me a lot of time (about 30 minutes) to figure out how to program the it. Connected it to a coax output from the basic TW Cable connection. Turned it on, nothing happened. The manual as well as the on screen menu were not user friendly. After much struggling and patience, I was finally able to figure things out. Prior to purchasing this Toshiba, I thought the most difficult TV to program was a Sony Wega I purchased a few years ago but I was incorrect. Toshiba takes the cake with regard to difficult programming. I don't consider myself an electronic illiterate so this set up was a challenge.

The remote control isn't bad but is IMHO too big for the size of the TV/DVD device and has a dizzying array of not well marked buttons. For instance there is one called "shuttle" which doesn't do anything obvious and its difficult to know what it means. There is also a button that you would think changes something related to audio but nothing happens when you push it.

One nice feature which is unit has, and which is not on all units, is a VGA connection for pc or computer equipment which is another reason I purchased the unit as I occasionally want to show someone something from my laptop and the 19" screen is bigger and easier to view than my 15.4" laptop screen.

For the money, I feel like I got a bargain.

In summation I'm not disappointed with the product, but there are some elements that could be better.

I rate this product 3.5 stars because of the manual and the difficult remote.

We needed an HDTV for the kitchen to replace a "tube" style purchased only 2 yrs ago. Not only is it thin and lightweight, but the HD picture and sound are excellent whether on cable or right out of the air. We bought an HDMI cable (for under $5) and reception is even better. Besides that, the DVD player runs beautifully. Highly recommend for kitchen or for entertainment next to your computer monitor (I think it can be USED as a monitor, which I don't plan on right now). This is a great buy.

Awesome little TV with great picture and sound. Fits perfectly on our desk where we use it as a TV and computer monitor and will operate just fine once the TV signal changes from analog to digital. Great buy!

The TV itself is beautiful; but we CAN NOT USE IT!! This TV/DVD Combo came with nothing in the box except the TV. There was NO Owner's Manual, Warranty Card, or Remote Control; all of which was to be included as per Ebay Auction description. The TV can not be programmed or setup without the Remote Control. I purchased this TV in November for a Christmas gift for my daughter, she opened it on Christmas Day and was not able to use it!!!! Now it is February 5th and still can not use it!!!!!!!!! Poor customer service from Toshiba!

I first contacted the Seller and they gave me the phone number for Toshiba Customer Service. I place my complaint/request around December 28, 2007. After a couple I received nothing, so I called Toshiba again, they finally sent me the Owner's Manual; without the Remote Control or Warranty. My daughter still can not use the TV. I called Toshiba twice and contacted Seller several times since then and was told the Remote Control is on backorder.

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter...she is still unable to use the TV. I am very, very disappointed!!

I bought this tv to install in my daughters room. I like the fact that it's wall mountable. I love the picture quality, very sharp. I find it very easy to use. My daughter is 7 & she can use it with ease. I would highly recommend this tv to anyone.

I gave it as a gift to my wife and she totally loves it. Plays DVD's easier than ever as its built into the side of the unit. We bought by name and price and found this unit was the best for us. I highly recomment this TV.

We enjoy the size, the fact that it has a DVD Combo and last but not least it was a GREAT PRICE. Also I HATE shopping so when I could got such a wonderful, quality, deal on EBAY...I was thrilled. All in all it is a cost-effective way to go. I would never hesitate to do it again.
