Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Essentials (PlayStation Portable)

The premise of the storyline was good. The graphics are good. The gameplay is great. Trust you me there is nothing I enjoy more than sitting in an almost completely invisible position, taking aim on on an unsuspecting enemy and quietly turning his lights out and hearing his body hit the ground!! (Yes I am in therapy, ok) But, with that in mind the game is very dark, so you play almost the entire game with your night vision goggles on. The controls are slightly difficult, but if you are a fan of Splinter Cell titles you should already know that they are never easy. Finally, my biggest problem with this game is that it is just too short!! I took it down in less than 4 hours total gameplay. I enjoyed this game I just wish it was a little more intense than it is, but its worth a twirl.

It's a very nice game, i already finished the game.... But the seller never send the other game that i bought from him, the World Series Poker......

i love it i played most of the splinter cell games so, i had to have this one to see if it would be good and its was.

This game would be decent if you could actually move through each level without having to press and hold O to rotate the camera. They offer a few other control schemes, but none work well. The graphics are decent, but its impossible to actually move through the game with such a crappy control scheme. Don't buy it. I am a huge Splinter Cell fan, but this one doesn't deserve to have the name Splinter Cell in the title.

Great game...you'll never be bored. Very engaging and fast paced. Loved this game for Playstation 2 so decided to buy it for my PSP and I was 100% satisfied. Can't wait for Tom Clancy's next masterpiece.

I bought Splinter Cell Essentials because I loved all the other Splinter Cell games. It is for PSP so you can play the game anywhere! The graphics are good and you still know all the stealth moves as in the PS2 Splinter Cell games. There are a couple new weapons too. The camera system was bad because you had to hold the O button and turn the camera with the analog stick. This made looking around a room hard plus combat was tougher with the camera system. Nonetheless, it's a good game and and Splinter Cell fan should get this game.
(Of, course you need a PSP!)

I can not give a fair review because I never received the game. Based on playing the game by renting it I would have to say it is all right.
