I DECIDED TO BUY THIS DVD BECAUSE IT IS AN OLDER MOVIE AND THAT IS DIFFICULT TO FIND.I DON'T HAVE A HUNDRED WORDS TO SUBMIT BECAUSE I WORK AND I ONLY WANTED THE MOVIE TO ADD TO MY COLLECTION OF MOVIES

i love this flix.i was talking to my son about natilie wood one day and told him about this movie,he hadnt seen it so i went to ebay.i found it easily. i used buy it now and now i own it. best buy ive made in awhile.

It is an excellent movie...love the actors, Natalie Wood and Robert Redford are exceptionally good and a fantastic love story...

This movie was highly overlooked by the critics, who must have been asleep. Natalie Wood gives a Oscar worthy performance, Robert Redford gives a memorable performance and Mary Badham is sweet!! The storyline drags a bit due to the fact it was Sidney Pollacks first movie, he has since improved! Overall the movie is a fun and sad ride set in the deep south and is a great watch. Just watch Natalie Wood's eyes and beauty and you can feel her pain of being "stuck" with a pimping mother and a poor town of railroaders, and Charles Bronson plays creepiness to a perfection. It's a must see!!

My favorite actors in the lead and Mary Badham a charmer.
A Harlequin-like love story. No doubt a chick flick, but worth watching several times. This movie was so well done by Wood, Redford and Badham that it moves the story up a notch. Stay til the end, you'll be glad you did.
