Third Watch - The Complete First Season (2008, DVD)

I really like using half.com to purchase books and dvd's, so when I heard my dad mention that he really liked the show Third Watch, I made a mental note of it for a gift idea for Father's Day. I got an excellent price on the dvd set. It arrived in perfect, brand new condition - and early, too. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

Definitely a great show to watch. Its full of drama and witty characters and some of them you can relate to, especially if you are in the field. I HIGHLY recommend the show

Watching the first season of Third Watch brought back all the fond memories I had of this fine series and the great cast - Jason Wiles is certainly one of the most underrated actors on television.

this is one of the best shows ever on tv with a little dram action comedy has a little of everything with alot of twists and plots i wish all the seasons would get released its still on tv its just on real early in the morning on a&e

Absolutely loved this series on TV. Have been waiting for what seems like forever to come on disk. This is a wonderful blend of all first responders FD, PD, & Paramedics and how they deal with the variety of scenarios as they try to protect & serve the NYC. Very realistic I have family members of the PD & FD dept of the local city.

I bought this set because I really liked the show. I am a firefighter and emt and its funny how they do things that your not sopose to do. Can't wait until the next one comes out.

I loved this show due to the situations that these people were put into and had to deal with in a city like n.y. everything from a harmless drunk to the episodes with the twin towers on 9-11. As well they had there own problems to work out with everything they had to deal with. I also liked the humour that they portrayed within the characters and as well the relationships. This show really made me gain interest in New York, to where I visited there.

The Box set was a great addition to my DVD collection. The person I bought it from set it was a new set and it was in great condition. It was a complete season and I am very happy with the product.

This is an excellent DVD collection. This series was already in its last season before I discovered it, so I am thrilled to be able to watch it from the beginning. The writing is excellent and the characters are very human. I hope that the other seasons will become available quickly.

Season 1 of "Third Watch" is in a single word....fantastic. If you've never seen "Third Watch", you have really missed one of the best tv dramas in the last ten years. The characters are well developed and interesting. The acting is well above average and the stories are extremely well written. Each episode is well-directed, with a balanced mix of emotion and action that will keep you watching. This show is a must for your collection!!

it seems like i waited for ages to get this show it is a wonderful show if you like a good drama movie about cops fire frighters and the pm i would rate third watch a number 10 it is that good

I am a fan of this show and wish that the entire 132 episodes would be released. As of now, the only place you can find the box set is in Japan.

The concept, directing, special effects, and acting give credit to those who worked on this example of everyday life in NYC revolving around both police and fire personal. If you study the characters in the production, you find the actors who played them were perfectly suited for the roles and made them very "real world".

I am glad to have purchased the first of six seasons. I look forward to the complete box set when released in the future.

It's about time! I have seeking this seasonal DVD set for well over 2 years now! Europe had this set over a year but was not conventional to US Region!
Third Watch seasons just get better and better!
Third Watch is a series regarding a specific tour in which EMS, FD and Police all work together. The characters are great! Love this series!!
And remember.........support your county , BUY AMERICAN...(if you can)

I have waited it seems like forever for this to come on DVD. This show has very good authenticity, great characters and great actors and actresses portraying those characters. The show is exciting and interesting without contrived situations. This is definitely worth watching over and over again.

I love this show because most EMS, Fire, and Police shows use the terms incorrectly or do procedures that would kill the PT. Third Watch, I couldn't believe I heard a radio report done correctly! Then he said the victem was in SVT(Supra Ventricer Tachacardia), I just about laughed, because he was right! My fav episode, I am not sure if its in the first season, I believe its called "September 11" and it shows the little and big events in thier lives 24 hours before that faithful day. It really puts everything in presecptive. Please remember, while you are watching this happen, there are many others oout there liveing it. Please thank a Paramedic, EMT, Firefighter, Police Officer, next time you see one. Just let them know you are thankful for them just being there to help.
