Great music is the reason i purchased it.
Purchased thru a seller. Took too long to arrive and one of the CD's was missing. I contacted the seller 2 times with no response

I love the country he does, not too enthused about the rock part. His talent just keeps getting better and better.

4 discs of top notch material, impecibly played and produced. the discs sorted in terms of style: Rockin, adult contemporary pop (fleetwood macish), Stright old timey country and western, authentic bluegrass. The style I would like the least would be the C&W, but when Gill plays it, it's glorious. There's a few Christian songs I'm not a fan of the genre, but what can I say, Vince is a great artist, in his hands any songs are great, and this is his mastepiece. This is great. Not a bad track on all four CDs

I purchased this box set because Vince Gill is one of the best performers in country music today. It showcases his talent well using each disc to show a different type of music. It is also a great value considering all the tracks for such a reasonable price. Any country fan should want to have this in their collection.

Vince Gill has a voice to melt my heart. The Box has 4 cd's in the collection. Each cd is excellent and has different styles of country/western music to enjoy. I especially like the #4 acoustic collection of songs...featuring the song: A River Like you (guest vocalist) is Jenny Gill, Vince's daughter. Beautifully written songs! Vince is a very talented music artist. Wish I could play quitar like that, and I'm not really into country music that much. Vince has changed my mind...;)

Given all the country "artists" today who are more proficient at high fashion posing than they'll ever be at creating anything musically meaningful, this 4 CD set is manna from heaven for those of us who love and miss REAL country music. It's all here, too: honky tonk, bluegrass, tough rockin' country, heartbreaking ballads, southern sacred and gospel, and the sweeter pop sounds that complete the package. You have your pick of Bakersfield, Nashville, Memphis, Austin and the whole state of Kentucky. Vince Gill KNOWS what he's doing. A great singer, guitar player, songwriter and producer, it quite simply doesn't get much better than this. Hopefully, Nashville will take notice and be seriously awaken by this release: Guests include Phil Everly, Emmylou Harris, Al Anderson, Amy Grant, Del McCoury, Beka Bramlett, John Anderson, Bonnie Raitt, Buddy Emmons, Alison Krauss, Lee Ann Womack, and many more. This is quite literally the best "country" release of 2007.

We had the cd ourselves and loved it, so we gave it as a gift to someone! it is truly a wonderful collection of songs!

Very talented musician, plays 3 different genres of music. Because of this album I am now a fan. Very extensive collection, quite a few songs.

It's nice to hear new material and a range of material from Vince Gill.
His voice is very unique and his lyrics stir the soul. Very sensitive and fun.

I'm so happy that I purchased this. And you can't beat the price for a 4-disc set. Whether you love Vince's voice, his virtuosity on the guitar, his perfect harmonies with others... this has it all. I love the idea of grouping them by 'style'. The Rockin' Record is my favorite with the Acoustic running a close second. It's a veritable potpourri of style, mood and rhythms.
