As a child, I looked forward to watching all the Christmas specials, and The Year Without a Santa Claus was always my favorite. When I became a mom, I began a collection of Christmas classics for my children. Unfortunately, I could never find this one. When I found it on Ebay, I jumped at the chance to buy it.
What I like most about this movie is the message that no matter who you are, it's nice to know that you are important to others, but even more important to show those special people in your life how important they are to you.
The one thing that I did not like about this product is the outside case. Instead of being made of the hard plastic most cases are made of, it is paper, which means less durability.

Fantastic animation for it's day, you have to love Heat Miser and Cold Miser as well as their mother "Mother Nature". A true classic which is not made today. A great movie for childeren and grown ups alike.
Buy a copy before they are no longer available, you will enjoy it for years to come!

This TIMELESS classic is one that has been in my personal collection since it went to VHS~ I upgraded my system to a DVD player and added THIS wonderfully funny Christmas classic. Snow Miser and Heat Miser songs were sung throughout our house all holiday season. I highly recommend this movie to anyone~ It is good for those from 1 to 192 yrs old...just so excellent!

Christmas Time Is Here and so are the ClassicsGrowing up, both my husband and I loved the classic claymation Christmas movies. Finally the studios started releasing box sets, but The Year Without a Santa Claus was never included. We wanted to share this classic Christmas movie with our son. Thankfully, we found it on E-Bay.

) i dont think there is another animated christmas movie out there that brings as many great childhood memories then this movie, i looked forward to this movie coming on every year on tv and it set the christmas tone and spirit for the rest of the holiday season, years later with kids of my own i brought this for them so they can feel what i felt while watching this movie ,i think its a must have for christmas, we have the movie on vhs tape that we recorded from tv but once you watch it on dvd and see how crisp and clear the sound and colors are there is no going back to tape on this one its like comparing apples to oranges :) this is a must have in anyway you can imagine possible :)

Nice quality considering movie made many years ago. Very cute explanation from Santa's point of view regarding the commercialization of Christmas. Heat Miser and Snow Miser characters are great! Great movie for young to old Christmas lovers!!

I love this Christmas cartoon and I had looked everywhere for it this year on DVD and could not find it an any of the local shops I finally gave up and looked on ebay, I was so glad when I found it there and at a great price. The shipping was excellant as well. I love ebay for helping people like me who live in small town areas that don't offer alot in the way of shopping.

I loved this movie as a child, but could not find it anywhere, and the re-released ones are so lame. They dont include Heatmeiser and Snowmeiser as some "certain groups" found these characters very devil like. This movie is as fantastic as I remembered it 31 years ago. Now I can share thios great classic with my now 3 year old son. Also included are 2 other graet classics, that my son just loves. A great Xmas classic from a great seller.

I love the heat miser and the snow miser, and my three year old will grow up loving them too. I adore the song "I believe in Santa Claus" and I sang it at church on Christmas Eve several years ago. It's an oldie, but a goodie never to be forgotten and the product was shipped promptly, and packed well.

It's a classic. I wanted to sing "He's Mr. Green Christmas with my kids! This is one of those cheesy Christmas movies that just stands the test of time. Forget the modern "sappy, emotional" movies. Give me Heat Miser and Snow Miser any day of the week.

I knew I wanted it! I knew where to go!I remembered the song "I'm Mrs. Freeze Meizer.. I'm Mr. Snow... I'm Mr. Freeze Meiser, I'm Mr. 1 below (or is it 100 below)... andyways... it brings back fun childhood memories. Because It's a fun traditional movie.

I bought it so my grand kids can watch the Heat and Snow Miser while they are at my house during the holidays. It was always a favorite of ours. It's hard to find in stores.

Great movie classicThis movie is best known for the song and dance routines by Mr. Heat Mizer and Mr. Snow Mizer. It's wonderful but for some reason not as popular in the retail stores. I am so glad that I could find it on Ebay!

This movie is like a beloved childhood memory that I can hold in my hand. I can remember sitting down with my older sister around Chrsitmas and waiting until the ABC channel played this movie. Not being home during the scheduled time was unexcuseable and not permitted. Unfourtnatly, last year my sister moved out for college and we were not able to view the movie as we had always done as children. I wouldnt let that happen again. I searched and searched and when I finally found it, I quickly bought it and waited anxiously for my sister to recieve it at her house. It arrived in 2 days. She called me in tears after she opened the box, we cried together. I look forward to watching this movie with my sister around Christmas or whenever we have some time together.
