The Very Best of the Spinners (Rhino) - Spinners (The) (CD 1993)

You cannot say you are a fan of classic soul and R&B, have a CD collection and not have the Spinners. From the seventies into the eighties this is one of the groups that would make you clap yo hands, pat yo foot, get up and shake yo rump. No collection should be without it.

I can't begin to tell you how much I am enjoying this, it really brings back a lot of memories of when music was sooo much better (for myself, "Baby Boomer"). It plays just beautiful, and received in the time promised. Thank You!

I have loved the Spinners for over 35 years and THE VERY BEST OF THE SPINNERS is one of their GREATEST by far.The Spinners easy listening R&B has always drew me to them.

i heard my first spinners song a few months ago. based on what i heard i purchased this "best of". i was not disappointed and i found some of the songs to be familiar tunes. if you are into soul and/or Motown, it is a must have.

Great C.D. I was pleasantly surprised. I had no idea that the Spinners have so many recognizable hits. The CD wasn't great all the way through. It did have a few songs on it that were jusy okay. But it's greatness clearly out shines the dismal ones.

I've been listening to the CD all day and am so anxious to see them in concern on Friday. One of the songs remind me of High School. The juke box would be playing -- I'll Be Around -- and at our school dance you would hear rubberband man! What a terrific CD!
