I don't care to much for the CD, but it was bought for my hubby because he is head over heels for Patty Loveless. He had this CD before but you know how it goes, I guess it grew legs, and it walked off along with a lot more of his CD's that he had.
Patty Loveless is able to have at least two excellent songs on each or her releases. "Lonely too Long", is probably the best of all of her songs. Her style and delivery makes her one of the best country singers of recent times. Her ability to find and record new material; without using old-worn-out songs as release fillers, places her above many of the recording artists.
i specifically wanted this cd due to the fact that it had one of my favorite songs on it, 'she drew a broken heart'. after listening to the whole cd, i ended up putting it ALL on my mp3 player because i liked the cd so much. it's a mixture of fast paced and slow songs which i enjoy. i'm a fan of the older country music so this was 'right down my alley'.

Pros: Great Country Sound
Cons: A CD that is hard to top

The Trouble With The Truth Artist: Patty Loveless Released Date: January, 1996 Produced by: Emory Gordon, Jr. Record Label: Woodland Digital, Nashville, TN Songs and My Comments On Each: 1) Tear-Stained Letter Get up and Boogy! This is a song about her making him cry and she don't care! 2) The Trouble With The Truth Same old same old. She keeps having the same problems over and over again. She needs to...
