This is a great cd of music by ELVIS,good quiality.Even my 4 year old grandson loves it.IF you like Elvis,this will take you back to great times,and put you in a happy mood.

Seems a little silly to write a review of Elvis's top hits - everyone on the planet familiar with Elvis's music - if you don't like it you won't bother to read a review - if you do like his music "top hits" says it all - either download the exact songs you like or buy this CD...

No, he wasn't a songwriter, and no, he really wasn't much of a guitar player--but the fact remains that Elvis Presley is pretty much widely regarded as the catalyst for the music form that we all came to know as rock 'n roll. Before Elvis came along, any form of music with any kind of suggestive beat was performed by black folks, mostly blues players. In fact, the term "rock n' roll" was a common black slang term for sexual intercourse. In the 1950's, most white people were afraid of what they didn't understand, so when the sullenly handsome Elvis had a minor hit with Arthur Crudup's rhythm...

Elvis Presley is mostly a joke among people my age, and I've gotta say, I've joined in on my share of them....the lip curl, the rhinestones, the sideburns....the gut...I never really saw the appeal until I picked up this CD set. I was in the used CD store, had some credit from trading stuff in, and saw this CD case....tacky gold cover, cheesy picture of Young Elvis. I picked it up and rolled my eyes simultaneously, and started looking at the songs on the back. To my surprise and chagrine, I knew about half of the 38 songs on these discs. And LIKED them. So, I bought the CDs and went on my way.
