The Sopranos: The Complete Seasons 1-6.2 (2007, DVD)

What did I like? The price, isn't that why we all ebay? What a deal, 100 bucks buy it now. This thing retails for over 450 bucks! Without hesitation, I bought and paid for it. I read the whole listing, looked like a great deal. SOMEHOW, ebay found out that it was and IMPORTED version, and told me not to pay. HA to late on a BIN.

Yes, factory sealed. Yes, all seasons. Yes, crap quality, especially on HDTV. Yes, Chinese subtitles. That CAN"T be removed, I even bought a new dvd player. The U>S never released a version with a silver case and bullet holes, nor the strange set that I got.

What I suggest is that you look carefully at the photos, and read listing carefully. Look for imported or international version keywords. Ask the seller to open one and photo it, you should be seeing a fold out of four, whereas each dvd is secured. I got the seasons alright, but open one up and you have four discs piled on one another, add in media mail shipping, and yah, scratched discs.

I am in the process of buying then again, cause sure, bootlegs are cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Look for viewed once titles or single seasons, those are more likely to be the genuine US versions.

Imported CRAP shouldn't be allowed to be sold on EBAY. This is about the fourth time I have been burned by inferior misstated products.

Be careful, sellers are preying on the 'I trust you" of buyers. Beware, beware.

The DVDs play like they are brand new. They were very well protected in shipping, and the care given to them shows in their performance.

great quality dvds first time viewer of award winning series These were a great price nice case . looking to purchase more complete series as reruns usally do not run in order or you see the same 10 episodes.

This is a great production no wnder it won all those awards back in the day. However, the purchase went sideways due to something the seller did or didn't do re eBay's selling protocol. I picked the set up for bout 1/2 the price in a store here in Phoenix.
The "seller" was willing to complete the transaction with me anyway, but the warning from ebay turned me off this seller.

I got a great deal on this complete season! I only paid $100.00 but 2 of the discs were scratched and we were unable to watch them. It also took alot longer to get them than I expected. But I did get a great deal and they were packed nicely.

My husband and I were very happy to win the bid on the complete set of The Sopranos. However, the set we received is made specifically for Asian countries. Most of the DVDs work, but we've come across two DVDs that won't play in any of our players--and we're only on the second season! The quality of the recordings is inferior, making it obviously clear that this set is a knockoff. I suppose that this is to be expected when we paid $165.00 for the set. However, I had faith in this bidding process and thought we were getting the set for a good price.

My husband wanted the full set of the Sopranos so when I saw listed I began bidding. After spending $168.00 for the entire set, season's 1-6, I received from the seller and although the package was good and all seasons in sealed packs, the DVD discs were loose within the box (4 discs per season) so there were many scratches on disks. I took to local video store and had scratches buffed out. However, intro of movies indicate that they are from the North Korea. Movies themselves were of very poor quality and kept freezing up in player. We have only been able to view sporadic episodes of Seasons 1 & 2 then finally gave up as you miss too much since they mess up and freeze up your machine. Not worth the purchase and will be much more careful in the future. Although this seller is in the US that does not guarantee the product is of a good quality.

Fantastic Series!

I bought it because I don't have cable and never got to see it when it was on. I have not been disappointed. Being able to watch as many epsodies as you want at one time has it's advantages. I also bought it with the intent of watching it and reselling it since it's expensive to get the whole series.

The down side is the language and adult content. However, it all goes to making it the successful series it was. If you offended by violence and language - it is not for you.

This set was made in China and is a rip off. Only 12 of the 28 dics were viewable. This man is a thief and a fraud. Passing off Chinese junk as an American product.

Some folks have no concious and don't give a damn what they list on ebay. This creep should be thrown to the wind. He is a no good thief!

I love the series, the characters seem so real to me. Of course, I have my favorites (Paulie, Tony, Johnny Sack is so hot!!)and characters that I can't stand either (Richie Apprillo, Janice Soprano, Meadow Soprano). It is set in New Jersey about a mafia family and their trials and tribulations. They are ruthless and mean at times. Sometimes I have to fast forward or turn my head because they are so brutal...anyway, love the series and glad that I purchased them!!

Great price!. Perfect condition for a "used" product.. Always wanted the set but they were too expensive.

The entertaining episodes of the sopranos brings to light how dignity and respect is seen amongst one of the oldest and traditional cultures of the world which is also reflected in other traditions in the region.

I had to return this because dvd's would not play in my machine. This also happened when I purchased The Lion King from an e-bay seller several months before.

Very disappointing. Out of 5 episodes 2 are messed up. Picture just freezes up or goes blank. Of course I enjoy the series and like watching the ones that I can see but really frustrating with the poor quality. I decided to buy it because it seemed like a good deal and I liked the series.

The DVD's were home-made. I was so disgusted by this, b/c there was no mention of it up front. I can understand selling pirated copies on ebay, but the buyer should be informed and not led to believe they are receiving merchandise they would expect to buy in a store. I did receive a full refund, but it was a headache.

My wife and I bought the first season to watch on a boat on a cruise. We were so engaged that we watched a new episode every night - then we went out and bought the whole series. Great stuff.

fantastic dvd set! well worth the money, a must own for any sopranos fan. ebay prices are at least half what you would expect to pay in a store. when we won this item, we threw are hands up in victory and shouted EBAY!!!!

The product was not what I was expecting having borrowed seasons of The Sopranos before. It was some sort of import, with shitty packaging, and even shittier menus, lacking the special features on the official copies. Make sure to ask the seller about dvds, don't just assume they're official.

We got very fast delivery. All the dvds were in good shape. seller emailed us to let us know when he would ship movies and gave a tracking number. We would buy more products from him in the future.
