I bought this game for my 8 yr. old daughter who loves playing the PC Version. The game play for the Playstation version is quite different from the PC Game which she struggles with causing her to lose interest. The game over all looks really cool, great graphics and soundtrack makes for long hours of

This is one of the most unique games I have ever played.

"The Sims" is a life simulator that lets you control the lives of your created Sims. You control everything - jobs, romance, friendships, even teaching your Sims basic life functions such as how to cook and clean. You can also build your own house from scratch!

As good as this game is, I do have a few problems with it. The graphics, when compared to the original "The Sims" for the PC, aren't that great, and after playing for awhile, the gameplay can get boring and repetative rather quickly. The 2-Player mode is a great addition, but even that becomes boring after awhile. Overall, this is still a great game, and one of the best ports of the original The Sims ever made.

Fast service, no complaints. Product as described, would do business with this provider again. Returned e-mails when I thought I had a problem but was able to work issue out.

I haven't binged on a game like this since Final Fantasy 7.
I don't know what the PC version is like, but the PS2 one is addictive enough.

This game is a great game to pley by yourself, BUT!! My best friend and I play it 2-player and what a kick that is. You can work together to make a great house and have all the comforts you wish. It was so much better to play two player.

This is the first Sims game I ever played. It was nice to get it again. Even though there isn't as many things to do as the new ones, and the graphics aren't that great. I find it very stimulating. Living a different life then I am now is relaxing. I like that I can do what I want them too so easily. When I finish playing I feel energized and have fun doing everyday things like learning and cleaning. And keeping up with relationships.

I received the item very quickly. The disc was in very good condition and plays well. I would consider buying from this person again.

I received the game very fast. The game is in great working order. My daughter is enjoying right now.

The game isn't as good as the PC version... It's somewhat hard to use quicky and you can't zoom in enough.

But if you haven't played the PC game, then you will probably like this one. :)

Excellent game for children around 10 and up. I bought this for my son for Christmas, he is 10. In the game you have to have a job, set an alarm to get up, cook, go to the bathroom, etc. You can get married, have children, and have to take care of them. It is a neat learning experience for children this age. It is a nice change from other games they play. From reading about the Sims II I think that one is a little too mature for a 10 or 11 year old, with hot tubs and other things. Also I believe there is some language and sexual references.

I bought this game because my daughter wanted it. She and I both played for a week or 2 and we both got bored with it. Basically, you make up a character and "control" their life. It's a little unrealistic and sometimes seems impossible. There are 6 different meters to watch...hunger, sleep, hygiene, etc. They all seem to get low at the same time and really quickly. You're working on trying to get one up and another one is going empty. For an example, your character will complain to you saying that they want to have fun. Meanwhile...they are starving! Also, I do not know if I got a foreign version or what...but if the makers were going to make the characters talk, they could have at least made them speak English! I get tired of hearing them grunt & moan. It's a good concept, but definitely not what I was expecting.

This was purchased by an 11 year old boy who decided that he didn't like it very much after we purchased it. Here's what he says: "The graphics were horrible, it kept freezing up, and he had to restart every time it froze. I decided to buy it because it looked good, I have the Sims bustin' out and thought it would be as good as that one but I was very disappointed."

I absolutely love this game! The missions really keep it interesting. Its not violent and there is no sex in the game. Its a lot cleaner than some of the other Sims games. I recommend it for ages 10 and up.

Its challenging to complete the missions. there are a few glitches, but most video games are full of them. This game didn't have as many as most games.

Considering the hours of fun you'll have playing it, its definitely worth the money.

Kids play this game and play this game and...... They love it. As their Grandma, I think it should be for 12 or older. The Game is a lot of fun.

I loved the price and the shipping time, but unfortunatley the game didnt work on my PS2. But oh well thats the price you pay when you buy a used item.

First I'm not a playstation player at all. The virtualness of the game is what peaked my interest. After playing for about an hour and burning the kitchen up 10 times and getting no where, I gave up. I'm not blaming this on the game at all. I'm just not play station savy.

I loved the original Sims for Playstation 2 but I broke it. I saw the opportunity to purchase a new copy for less than five dollars. It was a good copy and I am still using it as of this morning. Thanks!

I actually got this game for my youngest. I had the game before and it got ruined so I bought it again. My youngest loves that she can dress up the Sims in her own way and that the game is easy to play.

I liked how at the beginning, they started you off at mom's house, and you had to work your way up, by doing goals.I absolutely loved the Items you could buy,but the walls, and many more items were way too expensive! This is an 11 year olds point of view, saying it's ok.
