What can I say there is nothing I don't like about any of the Sims games, I have become addicted and I'm 36 years old. I was one of those video kid junkies too so I've had a love for games for a LONG time now. The only problem with the Sims is that unless you have the right graphic card on the computer you may run into graphic issues, which I did and I had to get a new computer just so I could play my SIMS! No I didn't HAVE to, but it was good excuse! Also I have run into issues when adding the expansion packs where graphics may need adjusted after the expansions are added on. Otherwise I love the Sims!!

My daughter already had the original Sims, however, all of the expansion games require Sims 2. She wanted the Sims Pet game and in order to get that she has to have Sims 2. We got the Sims 2 today and she says it "way better than the first"

My children wanted the game and like it alot. There were no problems at all. The only thing I don't like is that the games slows down the computer, but that is not the games fault.

I bought this for my son. He loves it very much. I like the price and they are in good condition. Fast delivery.

I like that it's different from the original, but I have to physically load the diskette in to play. I mean like eject the disk and then reinsert it everytime I play the game. But I like it. Not for anyone under 16 I think.

It fits all ages, young or old.. its so unique on its own is that its like its own virtual life w/o lifespan.. overly human with great AI from the games developers..
It must be all the long hours to coding with tons of caffeine / booze!

I absolutely love this game. It is so much better than the first sims. I cant wait until the sims 3 comes out next year. I love the fact that you can download custom content from the sims2 website.

Love all the options and the fun things to do in the game! It's great to play with your very own Sim family and direct their lives. Only recommend it for computers that run fast and have lots of space!

Great game for teens to adults. Graphics great. Loads too slowly. Gives the opportunity to create your very own neighborhood. Lacking in the selection of what you can buy for the new house.

Slaughter helpless people and animals, track blood, level cities. That's not this game. It is nice, polite and keeps noisy kids quiet for hours. It is the velvet of computer games. Oh sure, the graphics are third rate and audio is a joke, but it has a benevolent charm. Do you get to hack up mutants? No. It is just like real life, there is no real purpose.

do not waste your money on this product - game is very hard to load on computer - requires shutting down various critical computer functions.

Talk about living someone elses life, this game let's you do just that. This game lets you go through all the stages of life and you can choose to live it any way you want. And with the expantion packs you can expand your sim's life, by sending them to college or starting your own business. Visit the Sim2 website for more info.

I am a HUGE fan of the SIMS 2. I played the SIMS 1 when it was out also.
If you're looking for a game that will entertain you for hours and hours, then this is the game for you.
The graphics are very good.

A few downfalls to the SIMS 2:

Loading Screens - Loading screens are the worst part of this game. For every expansion pack there is probably a loading screen to go with it. There is a loading screen from a specific house to a neighborhood, from the create-a-character screen to the neighborhood view, etc.

Price - The game is NOT an unreasonable price, but for every expansion pack they create you have to shell out another $20-$50.

Overall, the SIMS is fun and exciting.

I like that I got the game cheaper than I would new at walmart. My daughter enjoys this game much better than the orginal Sims game.
