The Sims 2: Happy Holiday Stuff Pack (PC Games)

The items do make the game more festive. I wouldn't pay more than $10 for it though. I can't even think of 100 characters to use for this review. It's just a stuff pack with some holiday items for Christmas, mexican holidays, Halloween, Thanksgiving,Kwanzaa and Chanukah. It adds some festive outfits for your sims as well.

I am a big Simmer and enjoy all sims games I think that it is great to be able to decorate for Christmas. I do love to decorate for Christmas at my own home so it is fun to decorate for the Sims.

I play Sims 2 plus the expansion packs and love the series on my PC. Since I had the original Sims 2 game and not the Holiday edition, I started looking for it as soon as I could. I wanted it inexpensive and it is not sold in retail stores by itself. I purchased it several weeks ago, getting it for the price I wanted, and I have been happy ever since. I love the fact that there is more stuff to use that have holiday themes. It gives your Sims more options.

I bought this game because it was the final one I needed for my Sims 2 game. I finally have all the expansions and Stuff packs I need. Well I needed the most help I have ever needed when installing this game. I bought this on EBAY and the ebay seller did not respond to me for over 2 weeks about my questions asking if he had problems installing the game.

See I had installed it without a CODE/KEY, it said installation complete, but the little icon did not appear and I could not find it in the Local Drive ANYWHERE. I then tried to install it again but it said it was already installed. So I tried to uninstall it and reinstall it. Again, I could not find it anywhere. I then tryed to find help with the Tech. people on the Sims 2 website, but they never helped me. They kept asking me things like, " Where did you purchase this game?" and "Is it authentic?" Talk about a pain, waiting for their response for 1-2 days just to get a question retaliation.


The only way I got help was I finally went into the game, and looked for some strange items with Christmas and such. Only then did I finally realized it was installed, but it was unlike any other game from the Sims 2. Why couldn't tech support help me? Needless to say it is not all worth it. I could have downloaded all the items off the website, but instead I bought it for more drama I guess..... Not really a necessity, just a new game for me to say I have it.....

Completely addicted to the Sims 2. Its great to see these games on ebay since they kinda on the spendy side new from the stores. So excited to have this pack and enjoying the new stuff in the game. FABULOUS!!!

Having more holiday options to your Sims2 game is always a must for diehard simmers. I would highly recommend you download the improved Candles of Winterfresh from The Sims Resource by Chrissy6930 as they don't work properly.

Surprised and unsatisfied with the small amount of objects. Not what I expected. If you do get it, I'd look for a good deal!

I am a fan of the Sims but when I down loaded this pack I was disappointed, it hardly has anything on it. I just fell when you purchase one of these packs that Maxis should make it worth the money your spending cause these packs arn't cheep.

This is a stuff pack, you must own the original full Sims 2 game to play.

As far as stuff packs go, this one has received the most complaints. The objects are seasonal holiday decorations and knick knacks. As a stuff pack, this item contains objects and clothes but does not add much to the game as far as playing options. Most of the best objects have already been released for free on the official Sims 2 web page, giving this stuff pack has the least value for those who purchase it. Many, many simmers have complained that the pack was not worth the full purchase price.
I would recommend this item if you can get it at discounted ebay prices, but not at the full store price. Be sure to check the Sims 2 Official web page for the free downloads first, and you can get the best items without paying a penny.
