This the first movie on VHS as it was a program on T.V. This is a laugh out loud funny movie. Mother's to be will get a kick out of this movie as the rugrats go running and screaming as they see their mom pregnant and only can visualize this very large tummy coming after them. A great movie to add to your collection.

I like the VHS tapes because they do not scratch (as do DVD's). My grandkids love rugrats and its a good kids film.

I love VHS. Always have preferred hem to DVD. It saves me time looking in the store for people who sell tapes!! The price was great and it was brand new!! Can't beat it.

I purchased it, because I have 3 girls & they all have VHS & DVD players in their rooms. (VHS Tapes are cheaper) I'm tired of them fighting over movies, so I purchased extras for their rooms. Yes, they are Spoiled Brats!

I first saw The Rugrats Movie when my then boyfriend bought it for his younger sister. I was enthralled with this movie. I love children's television, and may actually be one of the few parents who can watch the same show over and over and over with their child- without losing my sanity. I loved watching the Rugrats on Nickelodeon. The show is cute, but doesn't teach morals and values really well. The movie does. The movie revolves around the Pickles family and their friends. When mtbat organized the Most Annoying Children's Movie write-off I just knew I had to participate. As a Mom of two boys who watch very little television but have a massive video collection, I knew finding a truly bad movie would be a breeze. It turns out I was wrong. There are a few in their collection that I don't like, Pocahontas, for one, The Hunchback of Notre Dame is another. But I wouldn't call either a bad movie. I don't know how they do it. The parents, that is. They never fail to lose these cute little kids. In this movie they've done it again. Are they ever going to learn that Grandpa Lou cannot stay awake for more than five minutes? I would hope by now they would have gotten it, but then again, Tommy is still one and none of the other kids have gotten any older, either. In essence, I'm saying this is just a cartoon. Although this movie has been out on video for some time, I just got my very first chance to see it this past weekend. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I thought that it was going to be like the TV show, which I do not watch, but allow my daughter to. On the contrary, I sat down and watched this movie from beginning to end. (Even watching the CatDog short at the beginning.) As with 1998's X-Files film, The Rugrats Movie might play better if you're familiar with the TV series. If not, rest assured you can take your children to it and get quite a few laughs yourself--no small miracle for a G-rated movie these days.
