funny kids'-point-of-view story, not-bad animation

plot meanders somewhat
As with 1998's X-Files film, The Rugrats Movie might play better if you're familiar with the TV series. If not, rest assured you can take your children to it and get quite a few laughs yourself--no small miracle for a G-rated movie these days. In a nutshell, the TV series Rugrats explores the world from a crawling baby's point of view. The babies, naturally, can talk amongst themselves but not to their parents, so they have to make sense of the screwy adult world on their own.
