The Real Mother Goose (1994)

This is th e best storbook ever! My mother read this to me & my brothers when I was a toddler - we looked forward to storytime every night and of course like most kids loved to hear favorite stories over and over. I feel this book is a historic document of American literature. I bought a copy for sentimental reasons and because I still love to hear the rhymes although now I can read then to myself. The illustrations are fantastic and a great attraction and attention holder especially for kids. My sister has the original my mother read to us. My brothers have copies they've purchased so I needed a copy for myslef. I also bought one as a present for a friend who had their 1st child recently. You just can't go wrong with this book.

I bought the book of nursery rhymes a few weeks ago. I have gone through and read several familiar nursery rhymes to my children since then. They have enjoyed them very much. It has been interesting to see some of the rhymes I was taught are actually different from the originals in the book.

I loved this book of nursery rhymes when I was little. Now that I have 5 grandchildren, I wanted to find this book and share!! I feel lucky to have found it on Ebay!
